This chart shows the percentage of children (primary-aged and secondary-aged) who reported at least one symptom after 12 weeks for those who tested positive or not.

So the symptoms are generally prevalent in children. Image
Report from ONS with more detail here ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulati…
Some will say 1% is alot of children but the key is based on the general population many may have long covid based on the symptoms even in the absence of having had Covid.

🚨🚨 Chair of the British Medical Association Council - ‘At the moment we have 50% more people in hospital than we had when Plan B was announced’

FACT CHECK

➡️ Since Omicron more in patients in hospital with Covid but not for it. Accounting for this, 7% less, not 50% more.

These statistics relate to patients with Covid in hospital. You can see in this chart that since Omicron we have seen more patients in hospital with Covid but not primarily because of it.
Also the number in hospital on ventilated beds, a more important metric is the lowest since early July.

🚨🚨 Professor Alice Roberts (Broadcaster and Indie Sage member) - ‘136 children have sadly died of COVID in the UK’

FACT CHECK

💥 Quoting numbers at least more than double reality and misleading ❌❌

I explain the numbers in a new blog - statsjamie.co.uk/medics-mislead…
I took an image of the above tweet because when I challenge the facts of Indie Sage members they have blocked me in the past.

Her claims on hospitalisation also fail to give any context.

To make informed choices, parents need to have facts, and not ones that mislead, be that deliberate or not.

Hi @TwitterSupport I did a fact check if an NHS Doctor putting out false information on a broadcast last night.

I linked to the official Government data in the thread.

Can you explain why you have stopped replies and people sharing claiming its misinformation?
The post makes no claims on the effectivness of vaccines and just points out the official UK Government agency data which is contrary to the false claims by a doctor that noone dies from when vaccinated @TwitterSupport
This what was said which is contrary to the information put out in the tweet of mine.
