🧵Mariyum Bosu Sahiba asked what expectations Huzoor (aa) had from @PAAMA_UK Lajna members.
Huzoor said:“The same expectations as they are for men and boys. Lajna should also make their plan and programme, they should also spread the message of true Islam...
they should also try to increase their religious knowledge, general knowledge, they should also try to be good – even better than the men – in morals and even sometimes you guide the men. Your responsibility is to raise your children in the best way, in the best manner...
so that they grow up as good Ahmadi Muslims. “This is the duty of each and every Muslim woman and being the member of Lajna PAAMA – you are living here in the Western world where religious activities are not taken seriously...
or not considered good even, too much is spoken against religion – so here you will have to maintain your traditions and your religion as well. This is your duty.”
“If you do some detailed research you will see that most of them do not offer five daily prayers even; not even Friday prayers. They do not discharge their duties they owe to Allah the Almighty. So those who are not discharging their duties towards Allah, how can they be obedient
“to the Khilafat?
“And there are some, few among them even who offer their prayers. But their understanding is not good with regard to religion and obedience.
“You always say in your pledge of Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, even [in] the conditions of bai‘at...
🧵 ⚔️ Why don't Ahmadi #Muslims wage Jihad by the sword against those who persecute them?
Huzoor (aa) recently said: “The Promised Messiah (as) has said that ‘I have come to this world in this age to establish peace and I have come on the footsteps of the Messiah of Moses.
⬇️
Did Jesus Christ ever fight against his enemies? No. He was persecuted, he was beaten, even he was put on the cross although Allah saved him from there, he tolerated all these things.
“So, the Promised Messiah (as) said that I have come on the footsteps of Jesus...
This is why he says ‘now jihad of the sword is not permissible’. And he quoted a hadith, a tradition from the Holy Prophet (sa), it is in Bukhari, that now jihad is not permissible during the time of the Promised Messiah (as).
Huzoor (aa) recently said: “When you have more work and you are absorbed in your worldly activities...then normally it is seen that you don’t pay full attention to your prayers. I take it the other way around...
🧵⬇️
“Nowadays, since you have lost your jobs, there are some problems, whenever a person is in trouble they try to bow before Allah the Almighty more than before.
“You say that ‘how can one remain resolute to Allah the Almighty?’ ...
This is the time that you pay full attention towards Allah, observe your prayers on time and pray to Allah the Almighty that He removes all these problems and you come out from this difficult time.
“So, in my view, you should be more resolute than before.
🧵🇵🇰 6 March 1953: A brutal wave of anti-Ahmadiyya riots, murders, looting & attacks on the life and properties of Ahmadi Muslims spread across #Pakistan. The government’s inquiry commission labelled this day similar to the Saint Bartholomew’s Day Massacre of France in 1572.
⬇️
In #Lahore alone, three Ahmadis embraced martyrdom: Muhammad Shafi Sahib, Jamal Ahmad Sahib and Mirza Karim Baig Sahib. Due to the failure of civil authorities, a curfew was imposed on this day at 1:30 pm in an attempt to prevent the ongoing systematic killings of Ahmadi Muslims.
This Martial Law was lifted on 15 May.
Muhammad Shafi Sahib of Burma was martyred in Mughalpura. Mian Jamal Ahmad was an FSC student at the time of his martyrdom and was 17 years old. The mob that attacked gave him a chance to denounce his faith and declare himself a non-Ahmadi;
Answering a question on this topic, Huzoor (aa) advised: “The Holy Prophet (sa) gave us a general rule of thumb by taking a particular case; the very case you are describing: finding a life partner.
⬇️(1/9)
“He instructed us that when finding a suitable partner for marriage, people look for three or four factors.” This included family status, wealth and beauty. However, “The Holy Prophet (sa) said these three factors are worldly desires. (2/9)
“You are to give precedence to religion – when a man seeks a partner, he should focus on religion and faith [in the woman] and when a woman is looking for a partner, they should also focus on the religion and faith of the man.” (3/9)
The current state of the 🌎- Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa) said: “You see, if people do not recognise their Creator and their Lord – Allah the Almighty – and do not discharge their duties to Him and what Allah the Almighty has told us to do, if they do not do it, (1/7)
“then the world is going to doom itself very fast. This is why we are here. We have to let the people understand that ‘if you do not practice what Allah the Almighty has said, if you do not change yourself, then this is going to be your fate’. (2/7)
“And only those will be saved from a bad end of their lives who remember Allah the Almighty.
“Everywhere you see, there are atrocities, there are cruelties, brutalities happening – whether it is being done by the big powers to the poorer nations, (3/7)
