She told ZERO lies.

Anyone who’s honest & paying ANY attention to the wall-to-wall coverage this particular war is getting will agree.

The comments from the folks covering it also tell the tale — THESE people being refugees is a tragedy.

For THEM there’s profound empathy.
Every human being on this planet deserves safety, food & shelter.

War is hell. To fear for your life is hell. To be displaced is hell.

Where is the compassion for the Black and Brown people who have faced what the Ukrainian people are sadly now facing? ❤️

Joy told the truth.
This is the same question I have when a little white girl goes missing & all of God’s chil’ren rally to find her.

It becomes national news. NO ONE rests until she’s found & returned home.

Let a little black or brown girl go missing or be found dead.

Aaaand… #Crickets

None of what I said negates the profound suffering of the Ukrainian people.

Nor does it mean that I don’t think we should rally when there is a human being lost or in danger.

I’m just asking for that #SameEnergy when the melanin-rich are suffering.

From THIS Christian, please know that you ARE enough for Christ who loves you.

Period. The end.

w/that knowledge go forth & continue to strive to be better for the kingdom & to love God, yourself & others as you love yourself because THAT is what Christ boiled it all down to.
LOVE is who He is. LOVE is what He left with us. LOVE is what He called us to be. LOVE is what He called us to do.

Judgment & condemnation was NEVER supposed to be on our list of duties because WE are ill-equipped to do it.

Scripture tells us so.
John 8:7 “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”

Matthew 7:1-5 “Judge not lest ye be judged…”

James 4:12 “…Who are you to judge your neighbor?”

I could go on. This wisdom is EVERYWHERE in the Bible.

I know we are tired. I sure am. I feel like I’ve been fighting for what’s right 24/7 since that orange snake slithered down that gilded escalator. His evil has encouraged the evil in others.

It’s always on us to fix it. But the alternative for us is death.
Yes, we will have to organize AGAIN.

Yes, we will have to register (and in some states RE-register due to their suppression tactics) to vote AGAIN.

Yes, we will have to donate to Democratic candidates even in states we may not live in AGAIN.
Yes, we will have to vote AROUND the things newly put in place to make voting even harder for US.

Our ancestors had to count how many marbles were in a jar.

Our ancestors like @repjohnlewis were literally BEATEN.

Our ancestors like #MLK were assassinated.

This is our portion.

Know what’s wack?

Every time a Democrat is elected President, it comes after some Republican yahoo has ran up the deficit, started a war or FULLY spearheaded the rebirth of racism & white supremacy via a four letter cult.

1/
The Democratic President gets in & gets right to work. They get as many laws passed—the kind that actually help people!—that disgruntled Republicans allow & work to fix the economy.

They are judged, ridiculed & doubted every step of the way — even by some fellow Democrats.

2/
Democratic Presidents are never allowed to truly set an agenda & get busy implementing it on day 1 because they always have to clean up the 💩show from the previous GOP Administration.

Think about it. Do a deep dive if you must.

I’ll wait ‘cause I know what I said is true.

All the care and flair she puts into her curated appearance every single day yet when scheduled to preside over the Senate of the United States of America @SenatorSinema chooses to wear this?!

It’s not about fashion or taste, it’s about the solemnity of the moment. #Sheesh!
It shows a lack of respect for the position she holds and for the Arizonians who placed her there. @SenatorSinema represents THEM. And she chooses to show up in their name like this?!

Then Senator now @VP #KamalaHarris would NEVER.

Okay Californians, this is an emergency! I’ve been out of the loop on the recall of @GavinNewsom but just heard that there’s only TWO questions on the recall ballot.

1) Should Gavin be recalled

&

2) Who should replace him, if he is.
If more than 50% of the voters say @GavinNewsom SHOULD be recalled, he will be — IMMEDIATELY.

If you’re a Democrat and that doesn’t scare ya, this will:

Whichever Republican gets name-checked the most for question two BECOMES CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR.
If you think what’s happening in Florida and Texas is scary, imagine what a Republican Governor could do in California.

#LarryElder and #CaitlynJenner are running. All it takes is for 50% of the voters to think it’d be funny to cite for one of them and we are toast!
