Yes, we will have to register (and in some states RE-register due to their suppression tactics) to vote AGAIN.
Yes, we will have to donate to Democratic candidates even in states we may not live in AGAIN.

Know what’s wack?
Every time a Democrat is elected President, it comes after some Republican yahoo has ran up the deficit, started a war or FULLY spearheaded the rebirth of racism & white supremacy via a four letter cult.
The Democratic President gets in & gets right to work. They get as many laws passed—the kind that actually help people!—that disgruntled Republicans allow & work to fix the economy.
They are judged, ridiculed & doubted every step of the way — even by some fellow Democrats.

“You have to be 3x better & work 3x harder just to get HALF of what they are freely given.”
Imagine Obama doing ANYTHING TFG did.
Sadly, I can’t compare @SenatorSinema’ antics to the excellence of a Black woman in the Senate because:
I am running for President of LA local of @sagaftra because I don’t believe divisiveness, lies & pettiness help US get things done. We’ve seen that mess play out in DC the last five years. It’s poison.. We are all on the SAME side. Campaign clean or not at all. #Sheesh#U4S
Further, taking jabs at someone who isn’t even running sounds like sour grapes from a past loss.
Celebrate your new quest to lead. Talk about the changes YOU want to bring.
If you can’t get folks excited about the idea of you w/o 💩ing on others. What does that say about you?

As you all know, I am in Ireland & unable to come back home until August. My brother & I were just told that my mom’s building would not extend grace & allow us to continue to pay for her apt. thru Aug. when I’m back & can save him from having to remove her belongings on his own.
My brother held vigil by my mom’s bedside 12 hours a day while she was in the hospital. And held up cell using FaceTime for me for 12 more so I could see her face as we both held vigil when she was dying.
He has done ENOUGH on his own. 💔
I want to be there for my brother .

Folks think money and fame are the answer when both are vapor.
Add to that the constant scrutiny, ridicule and judgment that folks think should just be accepted as being a part of being “known” in some way and you’ve got a toxic stew of eventual pain.
I think folks think that there’s some magical invincibility shield handed out at the “Congrats, you’re now famous!” Orientation.
Or that money in the bank magically makes the trials of life float away like a dewy mist.
Would be cool. But it ain’t so.

Here’s some perspective for us all:
Had #DonaldTrump NOT incited a murderous, seditious riot on 1/6, today he would be an impeached ex “president” golfing on our dime in Florida.
Essentially an afterthought to a nation fighting a pandemic that his incompetence made worse.
His incitement of a murderous, seditious riot on his way out the door has not changed his place in American History. He has further sullied his own disgusting name and caused even more suffering & death as his last act as “President” but his place in history is unchanged.

Isn’t it interesting that every time the Senate is asked to do THEIR constitutional duty of convicting & removing a criminal “president” they kick the can and the responsibility down the road to others.
To the voters in Impeachment #1.
Now to the criminal courts.
A few things to remember:
1) The first impeachment was about Tang breaking the law to keep Biden from being elected.
2) The second impeachment was about Tang breaking the law to keep Biden from being declared the winner of our fraud-free election.

FYI: If you test negative for #Covid, you are only negative until you encounter & catch Covid... which could happen the nanosecond AFTER you test negative.
If you tested negative and think that means you can’t CATCH or PASS on #TheRona over the holiday (with nana) you are WRONG.
I heard a dude — who’s now positive — say that he thought he was good after his negative test 2 WEEKS AGO because “the negative lasts for 14 days.”
Tests are not vaccines or cures. They are screening/diagnostic devices that tell you if you’ve got #Covid in👏🏾that👏🏾moment👏🏾.
Taxpayers pay for his trips, by the way. YOUR tax dollars are NOT being used to provide #COVID relief, but they ARE paying for @realDonaldTrump’s golf trips (to HIS clubs) AND for @jaredKushner to sell state secrets &/or launder money in foreign countries. MAGA👌🏻
This will be a thread of tribute to #DavidProwse, who was the physical form of #DarthVader. We all have celebrated the brilliance of @jamesearljones’ vocal performance as Vader—& rightfully so ❤️—but we must never forget the physical swag Mr. Prowse brought to the role. #Respect!
That corrupt racist’s #CovidTheater stunt this weekend was meant to make you forget that he:
1) paid $750 in federal taxes 2) refuses to denounce Nazis 3) torpedoed a debate because he’s accomplished NOTHING in 4 years & he fears @JoeBiden
1/4) held a super-spreader event that has infected 20+ people last count just so he could fill the Supreme Court seat of a GREAT woman who was a lifelong civil servant with a chick who wants to take away YOUR healthcare and every woman’s right to body autonomy. 5) is inept.

You all know that I believe in a righteous fight. Well, I also believe in giving credit where credit is due after the battle.
Today #Local706, specifically #RandySayer & #PollyLucke moved mountains to ensure that a talented hairstylist is on his way to union membership.
I mentioned them by name because it was NOT a small thing that they did for me, the stylist and the black actresses in particular that will soon have another amazing union artisan to craft their glorious natural curls, coils & blessed kinks WITHOUT heat!
It’s a huge thing!

It takes courage to live your life publicly—even the darkest moments.
But folks choose to do it because sharing their trials & heartbreaking losses helps others who may be suffering in silence.
It lets them know that they are not alone in their own profound pain.
The greatest gift you can give those who share their life-changing pain is this:
THINK before you speak.
THINK before you tweet.
THINK about how it would feel if it was YOU or YOUR loved one who was suffering.
How would YOU feel reading that shitty, hot take?

To the twits who just threatened to sue @netflix because #AlwaysABridesmaid is similar to the book they published in 2014...if it is, run me MY check!
PEEP the @WGAWest registration date! And that’s just when I registered it. I wrote it two years prior.
See you in discovery! 😘
There are two things you will never beat me on, integrity and the dotting of i’s and crossing of t’s.
I keep a record of everything that concerns me.
I believe in receipts especially when the devil is always busy.
