To start us off with some good news in this depressing reality, Wyoming SF0051 failed!! 🎉This was another anti-trans sports bill that would ban "biological males" from girls sports.
New Jersey A3209 has been introduced and referred to the Assembly Law and Public Safety Committee. This would require DOC to assign transgender inmate to the correctional facility based on inmate's gender identity, and use their preferred pronouns.
New Hampshire HB1077 had an Executive Session held on 3/7; the bill would be repealing the prohibition on conversion therapy for minors.
Idaho H0675 passed the House, into Senate. This bill would define any surgery performed for someone under the age of 18 to their genitalia as Genital Mutilation, effectively banning bottom surgery for these people. It also makes leaving the state for such procedures a felony.
Missouri SB781 has passed the Senate Education Committee. This is an anti-trans sports bill that would ban "biological males" from girls sports. "Biological sex" is not defined in any way and there is no explanation for how it should be determined.
Tennessee HB0800 passed the House finance committee. This bill prohibits textbooks from recommending or listing any instructional materials that promote, normalize, support, or address lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, or transgender issues or lifestyles. They are trying to ban our lives
Tennessee HB2835 3/8 deferred until (3/15). This bill would ban trans-affirming medical care for minors and force schools to out trans students to their parents. This bill would kill.
Tennessee HB2633 has passed the k-12 subcommittee. This bill would explicitly allow school professionals to deadname and misgender their trans students and protect them from legal or workplace consequences for doing so. This bill exists only to promote cruelty.
Kentucky SB83 in House education committee, and had a hearing today. This bill is an anti-trans sport bill that would divide athletic participation by "biological sex" which is not defined in any way and there is no explanation for how it should be determined.
Alabama HB322 is in the Senate Government Affairs committee. This bill states that public K-12 schools must require all multi-occupancy student restrooms, locker rooms, etc to be used exclusively by individuals based on their “biological sex”, aka Unchanged Birth Certificate.
Arizona SB1138 has passed out of the House Judiciary Committee. This is a bill that bans any GRC procedures to those under 18. Exceptions are made for "correcting" intersex conditions or to treat infection/a physical condition.
Finally, Arizona SB1165 has also passed the House Judiciary Committee. This bill is an anti-trans sport bill that would divide athletic participation by "biological sex" without any proper definition of that term

New Hampshire HB1077 has been given an unfavorable report by the Committee! This means the bill is effectively dead! This bill would have repealed the prohibition on conversion therapy for minors, and its defeat is a great victory!!
Mississippi HB1099 is also Dead!! This bill would have prevented any currently incarcerated person from filing a name change petition or being granted a legal name change without intervention from a higher authority.

Unfortunately, Florida H1557 has passed. This is the famous "Don't Say Gay" bill that prohibits classroom discussions about sexual orientation or gender identity in primary schools. Our hearts go out to those whose education shall be so damaged.
Missouri HB2197 + HB2734 + HB2461 all had a hearing in which lots of excellent testimony condemning the bill was heard! These bills are all anti-trans sports bills that would divide athletic participation by "biological sex" as determined by unmodified birth certificate.

Great News🥳!! Utah HB0011 has been sent to the Governor, but he has stated he shall veto, thus it is dead! This would have banned students from competing in gender-designated sports that do not match the sex designation on their unchanged birth certificate.
Utah HB0127 has also failed as of March 4th. This would have made it illegal for any physician or surgeon to perform any treatment or give any diagnosis related to gender transition in minors under the age of 18.

Arizona HB2161 has gotten a hearing for 3/9 at 2pm MST. This bill would require that all school records be made available to parents and mandate that schools gain written permission from parents before teaching students about sex, sexuality or gender.
