When you get scammed a range of negative emotions come to you. You can feel angry, desperate, frustrated, shameful, etc. That’s totally fine and understandable, accept it.
But be proactive and make a conscious decision that it will never happen again. Learn. Improve.

They are insidious because they cloud judgement and trigger wrong actions at the speed of light. Hard to notice if you’re not enough self-aware. Always take the time to scan your emotions.

No need to FOMO. There will never be a scarcity of opportunities. Opportunities are abundant and come every single day in many shapes.
Greed is about get rich quick scheme, short term preference, and the illusion of easy money. Forget the overnight success BS, it doesn’t exist.

Hastiness makes you take action quickly when being quick isn’t required at all. You’re going to spend your hard earned money, take ALL YOUR TIME.
There is always plenty of time to think properly and do the right things. Time is always your best friend, use it at your advantage.

Intellectual laziness is when you don’t do your own research. Most scams can be spotted if you study the project and ask the right questions:
- Why do they ask money for ?
- What do they have to show (code, product, experience) ?
- How do they interact and answer questions ?

It’s you hard earned money, raise your standards! Don’t invest if there isn’t anything already built, don’t invest if there is only a landing page that a 5 year old could build, don’t invest if you don’t know anything about the team, or if you have the least doubt. Always #DYOR.
Many rug pulls know how to build hype and leverage the heard mentality.
Herd mentality will lead you nowhere. If it’s obvious to the majority then think about it twice.
Think for yourself, have a plan, build a process, review your results. Don’t act blindly and randomly.
