#UPDATE: A big crowd turned out in Trench Town in Jamaica to welcome the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William & Kate Middleton.

The Duke & Duchess were received at the airport by a delegation led by Foreign Affairs Minister, Kamina Johnson-Smith.

Prince William and Kate were cheered on by the crowd as they went on a walk-about in Trench Town in South, St. Andrew.
The Duke and Duchess greeted the Jamaicans who gathered to welcome their arrival.
While accompanied by Culture Minister @Babsy_grange, William and Kate met Opposition Leader and South St. Andrew Member of Parliament, @MarkJGolding.
Excitement marked the atmosphere as Jamaicans took out their smart phones to record the moment in Trench Town and shook hands with the Duke and Duchess.
The smiling Duke and Duchess also joined members of the Rastafari community in Jamaica in playing the drums.

Here a Rastaman gave William tips on playing the musical instrument.

William also took part in a kick-about with Jamaican born international football stars, Raheem @sterling7 and @leonbailey along with member of the @kcjamaica Manning Cup/Olivier Shield team.

The Duke's exploits on the football field were greeted with loud cheers.
Minister Grange, Kate and State Minister, Alando @terrelonge2016 looked on as William took part in football activities.
Sterling and Bailey greet each other.

Sprint great, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, was also in Trench Town.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were welcomed by Governor General, Sir Patrick Allen and his wife Patricia, as they made a courtesy call on King's House which is the official residence of the Governor General in Kingston, Jamaica.

The Duke and Duchess also met members of the bobsleigh community in Jamaica and were welcomed by the Jamaica Bobsleigh Federation (@JBSFed).

Earlier, prior to the arrival of the Duke and Duchess, several Jamaicans gathered in front of the British High Commission in Jamaica and demanded an apology and reparations.
The royal couple's arrival yesterday was marked by a 21-gun salute at Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.

The Duke and Duchess are to pay a courtesy call today on Prime Minister @AndrewHolnessJM and his wife, @JulietHolness at Jamaica House.

SOME KEY SECTIONS OF DAMNING PETROJAM INTEGRITY COMMISSION REPORT:

1. That the report be referred to the Director of Corruption Prosecution in relation to whether former Energy Minister Dr #AndrewWheatley was dishonest & sought to mislead the Commission in breach of the law.
2. That a statement provided to the Director of Investigation by Dr. Wheatley about his relationship/affiliation with Sophia Deer is disengenuous & less than truthful.

That no instance of nepotism or impropriety werr found in Wheatley's actions in relation to Ms. Deer.
3. The Integrity Commission says it has concluded that Dr. Wheatley was dishonest in his representations regarding Ms. Deer & sought to & did mislead the Commission in breach of the Integrity Commission Act, the Perjury Act & the Commission of Enquiry Act.
