#JUST_IN: A heir to the British throne, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, has told a function in Jamaica that the atrocity of slavery forever stains history & he wishes to express his "profound sorrow".
William says "slavery was abhorrent & should never have happened".
William made the remarks during a dinner at King's House which is the official residence of Governor General, Sir Patrick Allen.
The Duke was addressing a host of dignitaries & state officials including Jamaica's Prime Minister @AndrewHolnessJM.

SOME KEY SECTIONS OF DAMNING PETROJAM INTEGRITY COMMISSION REPORT:
1. That the report be referred to the Director of Corruption Prosecution in relation to whether former Energy Minister Dr #AndrewWheatley was dishonest & sought to mislead the Commission in breach of the law.
2. That a statement provided to the Director of Investigation by Dr. Wheatley about his relationship/affiliation with Sophia Deer is disengenuous & less than truthful.
That no instance of nepotism or impropriety werr found in Wheatley's actions in relation to Ms. Deer.
3. The Integrity Commission says it has concluded that Dr. Wheatley was dishonest in his representations regarding Ms. Deer & sought to & did mislead the Commission in breach of the Integrity Commission Act, the Perjury Act & the Commission of Enquiry Act.
