Every Tory minister is saying they can't help people stay warm/fed as the economy can't afford it.

Will ANY TV interviewer ask if they'd be able to help more if they hadn't wasted billions on corrupt contracts & trashed the economy via Brexit?

I mean, this isn't complicated stuff.

The Tories have spent months saying that there's a ceiling on what they can do to help people.

And NOT ONE OF YOU is asking whether the Tories bear some responsibility for how low that ceiling is now.

Feels like basic journalism to me. 🤷🏿

FACT:

Every penny they wasted on dodgy contracts & every pound lost on Brexit, could have kept people's homes that little bit warmer and their kids' bellies a little bit fuller.

By not making that link, you're abetting that suffering after-the-fact.

Seriously... The current government was elected on a manifesto called Get Brexit Done. So it's your job to evaluate that policy.
So quite frankly, if anything in the video below is news to you, as journalists, I suggest you just quit. 😬

1) Imagine if Will Smith just walked up, leaned into Chris Rock's mic & chillingly: "keep my wife's name out your mouth".
Violence was not the only option to "stand up for his wife".

2) Rock DESERVING a slap for ridiculing a medical condition, DOESN'T make it a good thing to do.

But this is twitter, so the nuance above has no place here.

It's either Chris Rock should press charges for assault, or Will Smith should have put him in a coma.

There is no middle ground.

It's not the fault of Chelsea or Newcastle players/fans that the UK government has allowed genocidal governments to buy control of major UK institutions.

Their only responsibility is to be aware of the problem and not act like their "suffering" is more important.
