I still get a lot of questions on how to get started with #CRO / #CRONOS / @cryptocom.

Thus, I made a super extensive guide on how to get started.

I'll be explaining how to transfer to funds in order to buy/sell coins on #CRONOS by using Metamask below.

In order to get started, register an account using Cryptocom if you haven’t done so already.

Next, make sure you get funds on your account. This can be done by depositing fiat or by depositing crypto.

Do this by clicking ‘Transfer’ on the home screen of the app and by pressing ‘Deposit’. You’re now able to send crypto from an external wallet into your CRO account.

Depositing is just like any other wallet, you choose your coin to deposit, the network to transfer and you get a wallet address. Once you’ve done this and your deposit has been confirmed, the fun can start!

In this example, let’s say you’ve deposited $300 #USDT. What you need to do to get started buying some #CRO. This can once again be done from the home screen of the app. Click ‘Trade’, ‘Buy’ and you’re able to buy #CRO by using your deposited #USDT.

Once you’ve done this, you now have some CRONOS funds into your account, congratulations!

Now, in order to start trading coins on the #CRONOS chain with Metamask, you need to withdraw these CRONOS tokens into your Metamask, on the #CRONOS network.

You can do this by going to the ‘Accounts’ section in the app, clicking on the ‘Crypto Wallet’ tab and by clicking on your CRONOS balance. Now press ‘Transfer’ in the top and choose for ‘Withdraw’. Next choose ‘External wallet’.

Here, you will add your external wallet (your Metamask address) into your app (NOTE: This takes 24 hours to be added and whitelisted).

You can do this by pressing the ‘+’ icon at the top right, choosing for ‘Wallet Address’ (NOTE: CHOOSE CRONOS as network!) and by entering your Metamask address (find this by pressing your account number at the top in Metamask, all chains are the same address).

Once you’ve done this, after 24 hours, you’re able to withdraw your CRONOS tokens from the CryptoCom app into your Metamask account. You can do this by pressing the ‘Withdraw button’ next to your whitelisted address, entering the amount and by pressing ‘Withdraw’.

Now, how to add the CRONOS chain onto your Metamask.

Do this by opening Metamask, go to ‘Settings’ by clicking on your profile at the top right corner.

Choose ‘Networks’ and enter the settings below.

Press save, and you now have the ‘CRONOS’ chain added to your Metamask!

Now, if everything went well, you now have some CRONOS coins on your Metamask wallet! (The $300 USDT worth, exchanged into #CRO).

In order to trade it works just like Pancakeswap, but then on another website. The site to trade coins on the #CRONOS chain is: mm.finance/swap.

Here you’re able to buy and sell any coins that are available by using their name or contract address.

In order to chart coins or find their contract addresses, my advice would be to use Dexscreener.

Congratulations! You’re now able to trade coins on the #CRONOS chain!
