I told the board tonight that the 3 no votes would be because @Northshore_Supt is white. @Keys_Gamarra denies it. She says she doesn’t want a “rushed vote” so they can hear people with concerns. What did she do with @coalitionforTJ Asian minority immigrant families? Ignored us.

How it’s going, 2022: @Ricardy4Mason @Keys_Gamarra feel “hurt” their protests about the supt were not recognized enough.

How it started, 2020: they stood in front of TJ with @TJAlumniAG and mocked our @coalitionforTJ parents who are immigrants, Asians and people of color.

👀 I tell every parent to be a Nancy Drew in the school district. We got Nancy Drews 🕵🏻‍♀️ in @fcpsnews. The @Northshore_Supt is sitting at Luther Jackson with her acceptance speech. “Thank you for the opportunity….” She hasn’t given her speech yet…

The @Northshore_Supt has now written notes to placate the naysayers. Something about empathy and trust?

The moment when new superintendent meets the person really in charge of the @fcpsnews: @KimberlyAdams, the @FEA_Fairfax @NEAToday representative. Taxpayers pay for Adams to be the union official, per @lukerosiak great reporting. She kept schools closed. They’ll get along great.

Past 10 pm, @fcpsnews @stella_pekarsky and the school board finally get to “community participation.” My cat Ninja is even tucked in bed. They go on and on and care nothing about “community participation” as a last priority.

Preach, Suparna Dutta! The school board members were just hypocrites tonight. They marginalized Asian immigrants in 2020 and continue to fight us. We should call them the “FCPS gang,” as Suparna did. “Vote the radicals out!”
