Palestinian modus operandi in Ramadan:
- Use al-Aqsa as a staging ground to attack Israelis.
- Cry victim when Israelis raid the premises for arrests.
- Wait for sympathy donations from all over the world.
Peace around al-Aqsa has been restored for now by ISF. But there's still tension in the air and as far as I understand Palestinian jihadi extremists, this isn't over yet.
Calm restored at al-Aqsa. Hopefully this will continue.
150,000 Muslims (Palestinians + Israeli Arabs) offered Friday prayers at al-Aqsa after Israeli security forces restored peace and calm following this morning's riots by Palestinian extremists.
These are the Palestinian "worshippers" some people are crying over. Playing football inside al-Aqsa. Is this part of prayer too? Disgusting.
Local + militant sources report that tonight Pakistani aircraft have carried out simultaneous airstrikes against militant targets along Afghanistan-Pakistan border in Kunar, Paktika, Khost and along Bajaur belt. Militant sources say there are casualties.
Israeli MoD says it has tested Iron Beam, a laser air defense system it is developing. Iron Beam has successfully shot down drones, rockets, mortars, and anti-tank missiles in a first series of tests last month. #Israel
Meanwhile, there has been an IED blast targeting bomb disposal squad of Pakistani security forces in Makin, South Waziristan. At least 5 soldiers have been wounded. #Pakistan
This attack was claimed by TTP.
Meanwhile, initial reports coming from North Waziristan that there has been another militant attack against Pakistani security forces.
Happy to say all those involved in wasting my time last year in July are no longer in their positions. But I'm still here. They illegally used Pakistan's state institutions against me. I never blamed institutions. I blamed them. Now they're gone + I have clean chit. Alhamdolilah.
I could have said a lot after my release. I was approached by int'l media, many of who were already in touch with me over Afghanistan. But I didn't say anything because I have respect for fellow security folks. They were only follow orders. My 5 days were wasted.
Those who gave orders were responsible and now they won't be giving any more orders. That's the level of respect I have for Pakistan and its security institutions.
The claim that Biden admin's decision on frozen assets will provoke Taliban to violate Doha Deal is plain absurd. Taliban has still not delivered on the main point of Doha Deal: that they won't allow foreign terrorist groups to operate from Afghanistan.
The Doha Deal was meant to give US and NATO the window to get out of Afghanistan without getting bogged down in Taliban attacks. That has already happened. Taliban can now take the deal to Mullah Omar's final resting place for all Americans care.
Similarly, the other claim that Biden admin's decision poses problems in US counter-terrorism efforts is also very stupid. What CT efforts? Taliban has said multiple times it doesn't need US help against ISKP. Besides that, US needs Pakistan, not Taliban, to carry on CT efforts.
The Indian Muslim girl who was recently in the news for chanting "Allah-u-Akbar" while surrounded by protesting right wing Hindus has been turned into a political symbol by Islamists/jihadists. Currently, jihadi forums in Arabic, Urdu, Pushto & English are full of msgs of support
One of the lies being peddled on Islamist/jihadi forums is that she was fighting for her right to wear hijab. That is obviously not true. What she was wearing was a version of burqa (not mandatory in Islam & not a part of South Asian culture) instead of her school uniform.
The counter view is that all school girls should be wearing school uniform and members of one community cannot be allowed special treatment. There are several other arguments to back up this view. One of the things schools do is to maintain uniformity where all students are equal
