On 18 January 2022, Azat UVALI was detained by police officers and was brought to the Police Department.

In the corridor of the Police Department, he saw his friend who was handcuffed. Every passerby kicked his friend. Azat was taken to the investigator's office and his other friend was there too. His friend was naked and unable to lift his head.

The policeman asked his friend whether or not Azat was with them. After his friend confirmed, Azat was also beaten. They hit him with their fists, kicked him in the head.

On 21 January,the three friends were sent to pre-trial detention while a criminal investigation was being carried out. On 12 March, the three were placed under house arrest. The prosecutor's office assured the relatives that the three boys had not been beaten and⤵️

On 5 January 2022, unidentified men under threats(at gunpoint) forced Azat UVALI and his two friends Azamat #AMANGELDIYEV and Dostanbek #ZHAILGANOV to drive to an arms shop,⤵️
