1/ Here is a little 🧵 update on my journey if you are interested in my work and project @SoullessCitadel. I started out in crypto in 2017. I jumped slowly into #NFTs in 2019 to buy a few of my friend's work. I didn't fully understand the significance of it, but wanted to support

2/ Covid Lockdowns hit the world, all a sudden I was stuck inside a house with my family and unable to do the thing I love the most -- Create stories and put them into the medium of video/film. I never considered myself an artist for some reason, even though I was a filmmaker

3/ I decided to give my shot at making some digital art and fell in love. This jump-started the beginning of my personal #NFT journey. I tried a lot of different styles of art from photo manipulation, to 3d and 2d art. Trying to find my style, as it was all so new to me

4/ I absolutely loved this journey and loved the way you could communicate a message through art the same way I loved to do in storytelling, but I longed for more. I wanted to combine my NFT art with a story and I wanted that story to have an engaged community.

5/ Cue the massive PFP NFT craze. I never wanted to create a full pfp style type collection, but the longer I thought about it, the more I realized how awesome it would be to create a piece of art that not only serves as a ticket to make decisions within the story I create, but

6/ gives the NFT holder a sense of belonging to not only an engaged community but a piece of the story/universe itself. After a lot of ideas and thoughts, this brought me to @SoullessCitadel. This is my passion project that I have thrown my all into.

8/ A lot of amazing things have fallen into place to make this happen. I was able to partner with an incredible developing team, @QuinenceHQ, that helped me to bring my vision to life on-chain. I was able to bring my best friend and co-founder @Joshua_JenKing on board.

9/ I was able to get enough connections to finally launch something on @zilliqa, which I had dreamed to do for a while. Connected with an incredible community within #Zilliqa, the infamous #ZilFam. It has been a journey that I would not change for the world.

10/ The crazy thing to think about is it is just getting started. There is so much happening with this project, so much more than I could have dreamed of. I am so stoked to continue this story, to utilize the amazing blockchain technology to push it forward in an innovative way

11/ and to inevitably bring this story to life in film form. We have big ambitions. It has been a lot of work, but I am truly grateful for the friends I've made along this journey, the community that has formed around #soulless and I am beyond stoked for what the future holds.

12/ What started as a journey into the #crypto space to save for my kids' future studies turned into a new passion and ambition. Stoked to be in this space and to be making something, I feel deeply, has a purpose. If you enjoyed, just have a looksie 😊 Cheers frens. Yewww! 🤙🙏
