2/ Sincerity is often thought of as a measure of truth in the moment. It's used as a synonym for honesty.
3/ It's important to make a distinction between sincerity in the moment, and sincerity as an overall characteristic of a person's personality.
4/ Of course, it's crucial to discern whether or not a person is being truthful about a specific topic of discussion or action.
5/ Thus, when we catch a person telling a (specific) lie, we say they are 'lying'.
6/ However, when we believe a person chronically lies, and this is a personality trait, we call them a 'liar' — connoting a long-term pattern to their behavior.
7/ A person who is chronically dishonest can be, in fact, telling the truth about a specific matter — and yet, if you know what to look for, you can spot tells of a chronic liar (an insincerity pattern) even when they're telling the truth in that moment.
8/ It's helpful and accurate to think of this as 'catching a liar telling the truth'.
9/ The most frequent tell of someone who is a chronic liar is the overuse of their forehead muscles.
Specifically, a frequent elevation (contraction) of their forehead muscles.
10/ And although it can be seen in the context of a Elevated *Central* Forehead Contraction, ...
11/ ... within the context of Insincerity/Chronic Deception, the contraction/elevation of the forehead is more commonly seen displayed across its *entire width*.
12/ When used in an honest context, the forehead will often contract during specific moments of emphasis, anxiety, and other high-emotion.
13/ But similar to a person using exclamation marks too frequently — these expressions (should, to the astute observer) begin to feel out-of-context.
14/ Thus, look for the forehead, not only contracting upward too frequently, but also contracting and elevating out-of-context.
15/ SUMMARY: Ron DeSantis is giving Donald Trump a run for his money when it comes to the title of Chronic Liar.
16/ The most common tell of chronic lying/chronic insincerity (as a long-term personality trait) — even when the person is not necessarily telling a lie in that moment — is an increased frequency of an elevated contraction of the forehead.

1/ THREAD: What questions should the @January6thCmte absolutely ask Marjorie Taylor Greene during her testimony?
2/ There exists a significant likelihood that Marjorie Taylor Greene has knowledge of and/or participated in the planning and implementation of the January 5th 2021 DC Pipe Bombing.
If she is innocent of this matter, she should answer these question without hesitation.

3/ We cannot see President Obama's face, but Putin's expression is uncharacteristically emotional. This degree of public display — particularly from Putin — is rare from the leader of a country.
2/ Empathy is more basic, more foundational than love. W/out empathy, a person can parrot love/emulate what they (& others) believe are loving acts, but w/out empathy as a foundation, these are simply forced behaviors, a mimicking of what they think is contextual & proportional.
3/ This is one reason why sociopaths/psychopaths (APD), narcissists, Machiavellians, and Sadists are able to deceive people.
