Response to Viral Police Encounter:
“After showing pieces of the body-worn camera footage, the Syracuse Police Department First Deputy Chief Joseph Cecile took the stand and discussed how the police handled the event.”

“Cecile shares that he understands that some of the video is hard to watch and is visceral, but adds that the viral video that has been circulating was only part of the story. The body cam footage rounds the story out and shows a positive outcome, Cecile says.”

This bodycam video is 50 minutes long, but this is the most ‘valuable’ excerpt for me.
The father here is setting his kids straight after they’ve been stealing from local houses and stores; receiving targeted vandalism at their home because of it.
The police evidently deal with these youngsters regularly and the two filming bystanders did nothing but inflame the situation. This bodycam video was contextually important to the full incident and aids in public trust.
Apparently they’ve also been running around tasering people (?)
*note*
I included the multiple bodycam videos and excerpt from with the father after to hopefully provide further context - the 50 minute bodycam is much more ‘illuminating’ to how the incident was handled.
Of course it is tough to see a kid crying, but context is important.
It is also important to note the cops took the kid straight home to be dealt with by the parents; not taken to the station, or anywhere else.

Please explain how less censorship and more free speech makes democracy “less likely to work”; unless you’re using that word as a battering ram for something else.
Kinda like how Bezos buys WaPo and hardly anybody cared; or how the corporate press are also primarily owned by ultra-rich individuals who promulgate their own chosen (& biased) narratives.
Video allegedly filmed by the shooter uploaded online?
I can’t tell if this is fake or not, honestly.
From OP
How would they find this video? How would it make it online so fast? How do you film a gun from that perspective? It seems like a videogame to me, but it also looks real; and I’m an idiot with this stuff lol…
