Video allegedly filmed by the shooter uploaded online?
I can’t tell if this is fake or not, honestly.
From OP
How would they find this video? How would it make it online so fast? How do you film a gun from that perspective? It seems like a videogame to me, but it also looks real; and I’m an idiot with this stuff lol…
This is leaning towards authentic.
Locals report footbridge in video looks legit, filming like that is indeed possible, and there’s a 4chan post alleging to be the suspect.

Police are aware of this video circulating reportedly showing the POV of the ‘active shooter’ incident filmed by the suspect showing themselves shooting indiscriminately.

UPDATE:
Police have confirmed the video on social media to be authentic and are seeking 23-year-old Raymond Spencer (the 4chan user posted above) as the person-of-interest hoping he will surrender himself.
Search continues to locate them. Residents asked to obey LEOs.
*a word of thanks to those of you who helped to authenticate the video. I did not initially think it was real, hence why I posted so skeptically; but y’all helped to prove it legit in multiple ways. I appreciate the teamwork!*

BREAKING:
Reports indicate the Connecticut Ave shooting suspect, Raymond Spencer, has been located inside their apartment deceased with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Units clearing.
Any future updates I’ll just tweet out because hopefully they can piece together *why* the guy did this and there will be future stories about it. Hopefully.

Final addition:
“Multiple firearms and a large quantity of ammo were recovered inside the fifth floor apartment where the suspect was found deceased.”
Please explain how less censorship and more free speech makes democracy “less likely to work”; unless you’re using that word as a battering ram for something else.
Kinda like how Bezos buys WaPo and hardly anybody cared; or how the corporate press are also primarily owned by ultra-rich individuals who promulgate their own chosen (& biased) narratives.

Response to Viral Police Encounter:
“After showing pieces of the body-worn camera footage, the Syracuse Police Department First Deputy Chief Joseph Cecile took the stand and discussed how the police handled the event.”

“Cecile shares that he understands that some of the video is hard to watch and is visceral, but adds that the viral video that has been circulating was only part of the story. The body cam footage rounds the story out and shows a positive outcome, Cecile says.”
