Don't demean the Gurus by calling these Sikh. Sikh guru wrote hymns to the Mother Goddess, to Chandi.

The Khalistan movement is a bastard child of the colonial manufacture of a "Sikh religion" combined with #ISI funding and desire for revenge for the Bangladesh partition.
Lol. MacSikhs are funny. They've become a copy of Biblical monotheism with a jealous god. Does SGGS have "my god" and "your god"? 😏

No wonder they are getting converted en mass to Christianity. Why go with a copy when you can convert to original?

Let's look at Chandi di Vaar by Guru Gobind Singh.

MacSikhs would rather deny their own Guru's Bani or spin it, just as Macauliffe taught. The "SikhWiki" actually claims this is a "different Chandi, not the "Hindu" Chandi. 🙄

The Gurus would cry at MacSikhs.

Here is what Sikh Wiki puts as a "disclaimer" in red to deny Guru's bani. Why? Because Macauliffe's British colonial project was to create "Sikhism" as a "separate religion" for a political agenda. Since then much of Sikh scholarship has been perverted to this political agenda.

Jati endogamy is not the same as "caste discrimination" or "caste hierarchy."

Jatis are cultural groups. Jati endogamy is a form of cultural compatibility for marriage. This is not the same as discriminating against someone in the public sphere and does *not* connote hierarchy.
Jati is a unit of multiculturalism.

Jatis allowed enormous cultural diversity to thrive in India over 1000s of years. Each jati could observe their own way of life without the imposed uniformity of European nationalism or monotheism.

It also allowed integration of outsiders.
This is coming from someone who pretty much broke all rules. I was in a live-in 25 years ago, married outside jati, divorced, have dated across ethnic and religious groups.

But I understand why in-jati marriage preference is a form of seeking compatibility in marriage.

Christians produce atrocity stories like “they did human sacrifice” to justify massacres of the indigenous.

Christians killed about 100 million natives in North and South America alone. More “human sacrifice” has happened for the Christian god around rhe world than any other.
That "success" is superficial. A lot of people are suffering in the West. Drug abuse, psychiatric illness, broken homes, child abuse, this is the story of Western society today.

Christian fundamentalist bigots aren't any less evil than Islamist ones.

This is the attitude that led Christians to murder and enslave millions. As a native chief said, by the behavior of Christians it is clear the Christian god is not superior.

Somehow people are looking at “population control law” as some kind of panacea.

And who will follow the law?
Be prepared for self-Defence. Train your children.

When war will be at the door it will be too late.
The police, if it comes, will be there to count the bodies. Even there it may miscount.

When has the police protected ordinary citizens?

It's called confirmation bias @davidfrum. Since your question wasn't to learn anything—it was to thrust your assumptions and White privilege onto natives.

That Modi spoke of it means the history is not "excluded." Yes, it carries trauma, much like Yezidi cannot "exclude" #ISIS.
And these narrative peddlers deny current violence against Hindus on their festivals, caught on camera, imagine how easy it is for them to spin events from 500 years ago.

Hindu processions were attacked all over the country. Their spin: they asked for it.
The fact is that totalitarian exclusive ideologies are common to Abrahamisms and the Left. They are simply unable to comprehend plural society which does not hold that "non-believers go to hell." All the Eurocentric concepts they apply are simply false.

"The way people from the Nordic nations perceive themselves is quite melancholic."

Yet they "consistently score highly on the World Happiness Report."

What's wrong with this picture? Perhaps another situation where the index itself is flawed, based on faulty Western notions.
The Happiness Report is based on the Cantril ladder:
"it asks respondents to think of a ladder, with the best possible life for them being a 10 and the worst possible life being a 0. They are then asked to rate their own current lives on that 0 to 10 scale."
This is so flawed. Those who are ranking themselves a 10 could have a very limited idea of what "best possible life" is. They could also be in a stagnant society with very little upside or optimism, in fact, a bit melancholic.
Would an Indic system ever rank happiness like this?

The abject spin of the @pbmehta likes no longer surprises. But one would think they'd have at least a semblance of perspective.

He uses the tired old tropes of "majority" and "minority" as if they mean something in India. Minority? Jains are pelting stones on Hindus?
The Bahai say that India is one of the few countries that they don't face persecution. Why? Shouldn't all "minorities" be a target, just like they were in Church-governed Europe or Islamic states with "dhimmi" laws.

The template of "majoritarianism" comes from Christian Europe.
Majoritarianism is a factor when there is a dominant "exclusive" religion. The secular state was invented in Europe because majority Protestant states persecuted minority Catholics and vice versa. "Majoritarianism" is a Eurocentric idea—nonsense when applied to India.
