Thread on Ideal Ways of Living Life as Discussed in Bhagwad Gita.

1/ Large number of people believe in living life passively. Everything happens as per Will of God. Hence they are supposed to live as witnesses. They see no purpose in living life aggressively pursuing goals.
2/ They work that which is necessary for their survival and protection. They have no plans beyond that.

Then there is large number of people who love life in pursuit of knowledge. They pursue degrees. They make new discoveries in science and other fields.

They are scholars.
3/ It is better to live in pursuit of knowledge than to live passively as witnesses or travellers in this world.

But there is a third way which is better than the above two paths.

That is, Living Proactively or Living as per a plan or Living as per Niskam Karmayoga.
4/ The person who lives on path of a Niskam Karmayogi, does not live for his own gains. He says, "There is nothing in this world that can attract me. There is nothing that I wish to get and cannot get "

After being centred in above thought, he starts living for others.
5/ He is not interested in taking credit for work he does for others. He does not have craving for recognition. He believes and dedicating fruits of his work to world at large. From the fruits of his work, he keeps only that much which is required for his lifestyle survival.
6/ Life of Leo Tolstoy and Gandhiji are examples of people lived their life for others. To some extent they were Niskam Karmayogi as defined in Bhagwad Gita..
7/ @narendramodi ji once expressed his mission statement. He said, "Every minute of my time is dedicated to serving people. Every drop of my blood, is dedicated to serving people."
And this mission statement keeps him busy and energetic, to live for some goals of public service
8/ Look at the life of @rashtrapatibhvn . He shows no attachment to seat on which he is sitting. He has no attachment to position of being President of a Largest Democracy of world. He tries to spend his minutes for underlining events that highlight public good.
9/ Those who have spend hours and hours in trying to grasp message of Bhagwad Gita, have reached a conclusion that living as Niskam Karmayogi is much much better than living passively or living in pursuit of knowledge.

10/ There was a time when Gandhiji set up an ashram in Ahmedabad. Here he wanted to spend every minute of his life for the poor. But how? He remembered to have seen spinning wheels in Bhivandi. He arranged for some spinning wheels in Ahmedabad.
11/ Every minute he moved spinning wheel, he was producing thread from which clothes will be made, and will be worn by some naked poor of India. So he spent his every idle minute at spinning wheel.

Gradually spinning wheel became his tool for worshipping naked poors of India
12/ Suppose someone asks you or me, about how we spend our idle or leisure minutes? What answer can we give?

So far I am concerned, I have not found any tool which I can move to produce good for people who live in dire poverty.

I am far far away from being a Niskam Karmyogi.

Thread on "Why bad things keep happening to people?".

1) Many good people keep wondering why bad things continue to keep happenning to them though they have done nothing wrong. They wonder why destiny is so hard on them though they are always doing good things?"
2/ In sixteenth century a lawyer and philosopher wrote a short novel titled "Zadig" centred around theme why bad things keep happening to good people.

The novel shows how bad things continued to happen to Zadig though he was a well read and wise man.
3/ The good people assume that if they will be good and fair to others, the others will also be good and fair to them.

There appears to be no such hard and fast rule. There are some others laws that mould the conducts of human beings.

Thread to remove many misunderstanding in mind of people about Law of Anticipatory Bail.

1) This is an easiest law.

And yet when a person hears that police has registered FIR and may call him to police station, he becomes very very much frightened.
2/ If he learns that in FIR his aged parents are also named, his panic increases.

If the charges in FIR involve more than 7 years, 10 years or life imprisonment, his fears multiply.
3/ If he is debtor and if Creditor has filed FIR, his fear increases. He fears that police will call him to police station and will force him to sign a settlement and will force him to give post dated cheques.

Thread on "Suppose your whole life you tried to pursue you dream project. But your dream project remains incomplete.

Then what? Will your energy of all these years go in waste?"

1) This question is answered somewhere in Bhagvad Gita.
2/ Arjuna campers such life of unfinished missions as "Cloud which started from sea but did not reach the place were it had to pour rain. In the midway, the cloud is disbursed and lost."

"So what will be the fate of such a cloud?" asked Arjuna.

#bhagvadgita #gita #religion
3/ Krisna replied, "Nothing is lost in this Universe. If a person starts his life mission but for some reason he is unable to complete his mission in this birth, than his work will be carried forward with him in his next birth".

Now take example of Galileo.

Thread on "Do Lawyers have conscience? Why they fight cases of criminals and rapists and for the most corrupt parties?

1) In India, lawyers are called Advocates under the Advocates Act.

#lawyers #advocates
2/ One meaning of word "Advocate" is "To speak on behalf of others".

And legal system is designed as "Adversial System".

Two parties are supposed to strongly argue on behalf of their clients and in this contested atmosphere, a Judge is supposed to give a balanced Judgement.
3/ When an advocate is arguing for prosecution, he is not supposed to speak on favourable points for accused.

When advocate is arguing for criminal, he is not supposed to speak in favour of prosecutor.
