Because really folks. MRO already had fascist sock puppet accounts coming to harass her by pulling pictures from the internet. Discussing more conspiracy theories about how she is not Black etc. How is this reparative if you are not addressing her? #SlaveryArchive
More ppl liked the above non-apology for actually attacking MRO w/ a fascist conspiracy theory vs. all the callouts to the white Bright Ages authors for their non-apology. They didn't actually spew that conspiracy theory, they just were white, silent, & deflected. #SlaveryArchive

The conference happened in January 2019 because of Academic REJECTION. Specifically Rejected from the @KzooICMS in 2019 of all the Medievalists of Color sessions (except the one where we basically do diversity labor for white people). 2/
@acmrs_asu & @jeffreyjcohen (Dean at Humanities) invited all those rejected to present instead at a symposium at ASU that @acmrs_asu would organize. Since Ayanna Thompson had just taken over as head of @acmrs_asu, she also thought it would be a good time for coalition building 3/

#AcademicTwitter #MLA2022 PSA and CW for English Department job seekers. This is a story in which I have gotten permission from the PH.D. student to share, though I am not going to mention specific names. It involves an English Dept. search for an ethnic studies candidate at 1/
a PWI and R1 institution in the Pacific Northwest. This Ph.D. candidate got an interview with the school and received an email on Dec. 7th from the department's admin. assistant to set up this interview and then a direct email on Dec. 10th from the chair of the search. 2/
Both these emails never reached the candidate because they were marked as spam. Now, this is the content warning for academic job seekers, because I am sorry that this will make you feel anxious to probably obsessively check your spam folder. The candidate did not see this 3/

So ppl still friends w/ this alt-medieval lot & supporting them digitally & F2F & ppl who call out trying to out pseudonymous accts as VIOLENCE, Halsall was fine violently outing MRO's previous account even though he knew about her violent stalkers. 9/
I believe PH taped me at @IMC_Leeds in 2018 since he was at both my advertised sessions. Milo wrote a 13,000 hit piece on me (a bad diss. chapter on mysticism) & released the illegal tape of me & @prof_gabriele 10/
