NBC's 'Today' had a puffball segment Wednesday cheering the genocidal Chinese for their #BeijingOlympics in February and star Eileen Gu, the American teen who chose to compete for China.
Earlier in the show, they got upset about Roe and women being under siege in the U.S.....🤔
Later, NBC's Hoda Kotb lamented Eileen Gu faced "backlash" for choosing to compete for China instead of the U.S. at the #WinterOlympics.
She then allowed Gu to dismiss China's record b/c she wanted to "us[e] sport as a force of communication" to introduce Chinese people to snow
NBC's Hoda Kotb, excusing genocide: "Do you feel you needed...a thick skin for what came at you after that?"
China's Eileen Gu: "Absolutely....People...have their...opinions...[T]here's no wrong or right. There's only intention & I'm trying to make the world a better place."
China's Eileen Gu on NBC: "If people disagree with [her picking China ], that's okay & I just encourage them to make the world better in their way, right? We can approach this situations from different standpoints."
Again, NBC is upset about Roe, but excuse China's human rights.

Doocy: "[Y]ou guys spent some time...talking about what you think are...extreme wings of the [GOP]. Do you think the progressive activists that are now planning protests outside of justices' houses are extreme?"
Psaki: "Peaceful protests? No. Peaceful protest is not extreme."
Doocy: "Some of these justices have young kids. Their neighbors are not all public figures, so would [Biden] think about waving activists that want to go into...neighborhoods in VA and MD?"

DOOCY TIME: "Why did you guys say anything about the leaked draft memo at the Supreme Court"
Psaki: "How do you mean?
Doocy: "In the past, you have declined to comment on leaked materials. So, why now?"
Psaki: "Well, Peter, I think, as you would know...Supreme Court confirmed this...was accurate even if it is not the final opinion.
Doocy: "[Biden] had a statement out before they confirmed..it was real, so what changed?"
Psaki: "And...we don't know if this is accurate[.]"
Doocy: "Do[es]...the President think the legal should be punished?"
Psaki: "Again, that's for the [DOJ] and others to determine. What our focus is on is not getting...our eye off the ball of what is most important which is...women's healthcare is at risk[.]"
MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle on the March inflation numbers: "It ain't good...[T]he biggest increases? It's gas, it's rent, it's food, all the things you need to buy every day, so the people who are already the most economically vulnerable are going to be hit the hardest."
MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle: "[W]e've talked about the good news about wages being up so much over the past year. When you account for inflation, hourly wages are actually down almost 3%...For those at the bottom...huge blow."
MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle on inflation: "This is crippling politically. Look what's happening in France...inflation is even worse there. You've got the same people are saying we stand w/Ukraine, you know, we understand...gas prices...but I don't like it & I'm voting against you."

CBS's Gayle King: "Your family is extremely close...And now the family's in the news mainly because of Hunter Biden and your brother. Is Hunter a problem for your family in your opinion?"
Joe Biden's sister and Hunter Biden's Aunt Valerie: "No."
CBS's Gayle King to Joe Biden's sister, Valerie: Hunter "certainly is under a microscope. A lot of people are looking at his business dealings. Was it on the up & up? Was it not on the up & up? Was Joe Biden involved? Was Jimmy Biden involved? What do you want to say about that?"
Valerie Biden on questions surrounding Hunter: "The only race that I wasn't enthusiastic...was the 2020...b/c I expected...it would be ugly & mean, and it would be an attack on my brother, Joe, personally & professionally b/c [Trump] is very intent on bringing my brother down."
DOOCY TIME: "Our team in Texas is saying that you guys are starting to give smartphones to border crossers hoping that they'll use the phones to check in or to be tracked. Which part of that is supposed to deter people from crossing illegally into the States?"
Doocy: Any concern by folks around here that these migrants will take the phones & just toss them?
Psaki: Do you have a record of people throwing phones away?
Doocy: I'm just asking if that is a concern.
Psaki: We want to make sure that [they]...proceed thru our process.
Doocy: "Was it common for President Biden to do favors for Hunter Biden's international business partners, like writing college recommendations for their kids?"
Psaki: "I have seen the report, but I have no confirmation or comment...."
