I have been on the job market for more than 3 years now. So, I am beyond thrilled to share I will join ESCP Business School in Paris as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sustainability in June!

Been on job market for +3 years (ThReE!), and now have a tenure-track Assistant Professor position! Job market is cruel.

Best advice & lessons🧵--not perseverance pays.

"To be considered seriously for a prof position, in next 2-3 years you need to publish about 20...

papers, ideally 5-6 A or A+. Quantity shows you are active, ranking shows your research quality is top. Otherwise you are unlikely to make it."

"You work a lot with practice, do lots of applied research. Have you considered going into industry? You could always come back. You will still need the publications of course."
