A few thoughts on building out an idea into a business / project. 🧵
1.) Write down everything, do not just put it in your phone. That may be convenient and easy, but something happens when you put pen to paper.
When writing ideas out by hand you will begin to notice more ideas flooding in and you begin to think more deeply about your project.
2.) Since you are writing ideas out by hand, make sure you carry a notebook with you wherever you go. This can be any size, but don't forget it. You never know when new details about your idea will come.
3.) Talk to people about it. You probably shouldn't tell everyone about the project, but find a few people to talk to about it. They don't have to be experts in the area of your project, actually probably better if they are not experts.
The reason is because this makes you slow down and explain your project thoroughly to them. You have to break down complex ideas into smaller comprehensive thoughts. They will ask you really good questions so that you can refine your ideas.
For example I talk to my wife about all my projects. One, because she has wisdom that I do not have, and two she asks really good questions about the project since she is not an expert. Her questions make me think of the project from different angles that I had not considered.
4.) (This is objectively the most important ) Continually pray and submit yourself to Scripture to make sure you are following the Lord's will. This keeps you in check from a multitude of sins, especially greed.
Let me know some of your habits when developing a new project / business venture.
