@KLM @AirFranceKLM you just serviced us the worst ever airline experience (BOTH WAYS) on our long-awaited visit to our friends in Munich.

Flight out AMS-MUC on KL1795 on May 26th. We arrived fairly early to @Schiphol as we were told the airport was particularly busy.

We managed to handle check-in and security OK. So far so good.

At 10:23, so less than 2 hours before departure, the flight was canceled without reason. When asking, the team told us the don't know why. When insisting on a cancelation reason with social media staff, we we're told it was "windy. All other flights departed as scheduled.

After waiting for about 35-40 minutes at the service desk, we were told that we would be booked on a flight via Frankfurt in 5 hours. Nothing was offered. After complaining, a 12€ voucher was given to us. No compensation for the infant 4/10.

We took KL1769 AMS-FRA, which was also delayed. Our original layover was already only 1h (between landing and take-off), with the extra delay it was impossible to reach LH116, especially as our baby stroller was checked through to final destination instead of deliver at gate 5/10

So we missed the flight and we're rebooked by extremely friendly @lufthansa agents in Frankfurt onto flight LH122. We arrived with our infant daughter at 22:15 in Munich airport, instead of the planned 13:25. That's 8:50h delay. We left our house at 9:00. 6/10

For the return flight, we booked KL1798 on May 29th (today). We arrived early at the airport to grab a beer with some friends at @Airbraeu - we arrived at 15:10 at the airport. Went straight to check-in at desk D119 (Sky Priority). The lady said she couldn't check us in... 7/10

and to please wait as there was an issue with the tickets which she would fix. I asked my wife to wait so my daughter and I could head to meet our friends. At 16:18 my wife called me crying. Ground staff told her she can't help and would call the police if she wouldn't leave 8/10

I had to stop in the middle of the meal to head back. Paid and returned. The lady told us she didn't have time to solve it, nobody else would and after I insisted she should let us know how to find a solution for us to check-in she told me "leave, our I'll call the police" 9/10

@flyingblue call center managed to solve it last second, so we could still check in. At a different counter cause the lady continued to refuse and with a lot of luck as check-in had officially ended by then. 10/10

When arriving at the gate, there was no pre-boarding and after a completely disorganized boarding process we made it. Take of 30 mins late as of now...

Final add-on @KLM your service staff booked a new ticket "*M*TKT ISSUED DUE ERROR IN EXCHANGE INF", for which I received an email at 17:07.

How is your ground crew at @MUC_Airport so incredibly incompetent and unfriendly that they are threatening with calling the policy instead

of helping a young family with an infant daughter who did nothing wrong... #klm #ams #muc #travel #horriblecustomerservice
