May 28 – Former #Azov Commander Maxim Zhorin "Mose" confirmed the formation of new units “on the same principles and ideological foundation as the legendary AZOV regiment.”
They presented patches to the soldiers of the new sub unit - SSO AZOV #Kharkov.
May 28 – The formation of new AZOV units (comprised of 1,000 #Kharkov residents for 2 subunits) is undoubtedly a response to the mass surrender of AZOV in Mariupol that depleted their ranks.
Anatoliy Sydorenko was appointed as commander of the new sub unit - SSO AZOV. #Ukraine
There is dissent with regard to #Azov Konstantin Nemichev training civilians (1,000 Kharkiv residents who now form 2 new subunits in Kharkov "Volunteers Tro".)
Head of the SBU in Kharkiv region, Roman Dudin suggests "only official formations will act in case of aggravation.”
May 29 – To no surprise, after a recent trip to #Kharkov, Zelensky fired Roman Dudin, head of the SBU – Kharkov region since 2020.
According to Zelensky, Dudin “did not work to protect the city,” but thought “only about himself personally.” An investigation to follow. #Ukraine
May 29 – In an address to Kharkov, Kiev, Severodonetsk, and Krivoy Rog – Zelensky confirmed firing Roman Dudin, head of SBU #Kharkov region.
"I came, sorted it out, fired the head of the Security Service in the region... What motives - law enforcers will find out." #Ukraine
Writer @tomfball's sad attempt to spin two new SSO Azov subunits "Volunteers Tro" in #Kharkov –– comprised of civilians –– as a sweeping Azov rebrand is peak duplicity and stupidity.
Azov has *not* removed its neo-Nazi insignia across all units. These are volunteer units.
SSO Azov’s new “three swords on the mound” patches may signify “a promise to take revenge for fallen brothers,” but it does not erase their neo-Nazi ideologies, atrocities, or their overt #Nazi tattoos.
If UK reporter @tomfball wasn't so bent on spinning fantastical #Ukraine drivel to meet his word count, he would realize #Azov has not undergone a rebrand, and that SSO Azov is doling out "Three Sword" patches to select & volunteer subunits in a sad attempt at narrative control.
I guess @tomfball didn’t like Twitter’s collective feedback regarding his drivel. But I do love how everyone is sharing the screenshot and not the actual trash article. No page views for you. 😄
While SSO #Azov was busy doling out "Three Sword" narrative control patches to select & volunteer subunits in #Kharkov, an Azov forgot to remove his Nazi Germany insignia – the 3rd SS Panzer Division Totenkopf Division patch to be precise. #Ukraine

Why do western media outlets covertly peddle neo-Nazi propaganda?
March 3, PBS @NewsHour published and promoted an interview with neo-Nazi Ukrainian mayor, Artem Semenikhin, without disclosing his allegiances to Adolf Hitler and #Ukraine’s own Nazi sympathizer Stepan #Bandera.
Fascinating how #Ukraine neo-Nazi propaganda manages to slip past a vast network of collective West disinformation-fighters, fact-checkers, Bellingcats, etc – all allegedly set up to protect us from Nazis.
The March 3, PBS @NewsHour interview with neo-Nazi Ukrainian mayor, Artem Semenikhin, and his blurred-out picture of Nazi collaborator Stepan #Bandera tells you everything you need to know about US-Western coverage of the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
Ukraine serves “as a training ground for the extremist right… Ukrainian military units like #Azov Battalion and Right Sector. Both organizations have known ties to an international network of neo-Nazis & active positions on the frontlines of the war in eastern #Ukraine.” (2020)
“The conflict in eastern #Ukraine is to the white supremacists what Afghanistan was to the Salafi-jihadists in the 80’s and 90’s,” said Saltskog.
“Remember, al-Qaeda, for which the English translation is ‘The Base,’ was born out of the conflict in Afghanistan.” @VICE (2020)
“Travelling to #Ukraine allows American neo-Nazis to gain actual combat experience to bring back home.” @VICE (2020)
🚨Zelensky party deputies propose new law to allow Ukrainian Armed Forces commanders to *kill* their soldiers in order to stop mass surrenders and flight from positions.
More Ukrainian soldiers lay down arms and refuse to fight as they plead for help amid the realities of being outgunned and under equipped.
This is the demoralized remnant of the 14th brigade of the UAF 4th, 5th and 6th companies (or rather, what’s left of them). #Ukraine
A collapse of the UAF 🇺🇦 is imminent.
Ukrainian soldiers of the 13th battalion of the 58th brigade publicly denounce Zelensky for using them as “cannon fodder” – many are conscripts who attest to never using a weapon prior to the current conflict. #Ukraine
