Remember all the racist attacks Sasha Banks received for daring to be in #TheMandalorian? No? Because there weren't any.

#StarWars has a gaslighting problem because their executive & creative teams suck. They don't have a racism problem because their fanbase is full of racists.

I'd like to hear Thandie Newtown's stories of abuse for daring to be a black woman in a #StarWars movie. Because, you know, fans never criticized a white man like Alden Ehrenreich for being miscast in a movie.

Remember how Naomi Ackie got bullied so bad for being a black woman in #StarWars that she had to quit social media?

Because apparently it didn't happen, even with all the "racists" in the #StarWars fan base. 🙄

It's almost as if, if a character is bad and poorly written, no matter what they look like, people won't like them.

I wonder who attacked Rosario Dawson more for being in #StarWars. "Racist" Star Wars fans who hate seeing women of color in the franchise, or unhinged SJW lunatics who accuse her of being transphobic? 🤔

Hey, remember when Disney & Lucasfilm "stood against" all the anti-gay bigots in the #StarWars fanbase by including LGBTQIA+ representation in a Star Wars movie?

And then removed that scene in international releases to cater to anti-LGBTQIA+ governments in order to make money?

It must be nice to be able to selectively stand by your ideals when it suits you and completely abandon them when it's convenient. Wish I could live my life that way, but then again, I'm not a leftist.

The people who believe this narrative that #StarWars fans are racist seem to be forgetting the fact that the have been beloved black characters and actors in the franchise for decades with no issues at all. And if there were issues, it was about how they were written.

I'd also like to point out that #ObiWan was written mostly by Joby Harold, Stuart Beattie, and Andrew Stanton. Three white men.

Hannah Friedman, who wrote 2 episodes is also white.

Hossein Amini, who wrote 4 episodes, isn't white, but he is a man.

So if you have a poorly written black female character written entirely by white people/men, isn't that a failure of the writers being bad/racists and not the fans?

Fact is, the creative team behind #StarWars is overwhelmingly white and male. Always has been.

The difference is that nowadays they're also leftist elitist snobs who justify their lack of talent by accusing fans of being toxic in some way to protect their careers. Lucasfilm doesn't practice what it preaches behind the scenes. They're all a bunch of hypocrites.

I'd like to remind everyone that it was two white men (JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson) who decided to make their central black character in #StarWars a janitor who lusts after a white woman.

But... The fans are the ones who are racist, apparently.

If you REALLY want to know the problem with modern #StarWars, it's the writing, not the skin color of the actors. I go into depth about this here. Check it out if you are interested, because Lucasfilm can't hide behind racism with my arguments here.

I understand reading comprehension isn't great here on Twitter, but I'll just point out that I said "characters AND actors" to specifically address the two since actors seem to be singled out. It doesn't matter I posted a Pic of the same character, it was 2 different actors.

Because, you know, if racism is directed at all POC actors involved in #StarWars, then individual actors should be highlighted, even if they play the same character.

I know y'all love your double standards, but this isn't really the own you think it is. LoL.
