PA GOP nominee for governor, Doug Mastriano, was a scheduled speaker at a far-right event called “Wild Protest” that was planned for the Capitol building on Jan. 6 as the riots happened. #PAGOV
Mastriano instead crossed police lines and followed rioters into restricted areas around the Capitol building.

With news that Rep. Perry sought a pardon for his involvement in the criminal conspiracy to overturn the election, here is video of him running away from @MikeGorsegner to avoid questions about it.
“Perry has said there’s “nothing wrong” with him speaking to former President Donald Trump or having a difference in opinion over the 2020 election.”

Here is @PASenateGOP Sen. Regan telling a crowd on Nov. 7 (day PA and election were called for Joe Biden) that his leaders were doing everything Trump asked.

Given *the U.S. Senate* existing in its current broken form, this is a pretty strong deal. Puts even more pressure on GOP state legislatures like PA to act.
Particularly intrigued by this. Mastriano and other pro-gun PA GOP legislators have pledged to try to block any new federal gun safety restrictions. This would likely make the list.
Very interested to see whether Mastriano comes out against this bipartisan deal. This is what he said earlier this year about *any* new federal gun safety measures. #PAGOV

🆕 @January6thCmte footage shows Mastriano ally and PA resident Samuel Lazar as he crosses police lines.

Lazar was a frequent guest at @PAGOP events. On Dec. 12, he was with Mastriano in DC for a pre-Jan. 6 event.

He also had front row seat for @PASenateGOP Gettysburg hearing.

Tonight @January6thCmte will hold its first hearing on the criminal conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election, which led to violent insurrection and lasting damage to our democracy.

Few states were more central to than PA and few groups more responsible than @PAGOP.

PA voters had two disaster declaration ballot questions to decide today.

GOP caucuses and groups went all-in on Yes campaigns.

Some level setting: I explained disaster declarations for 5 years. I know what they do and don’t.

Things Rs hated about pandemic - closures, masks, etc - are unrelated, and already ending.

They are actually pretty boring: speed up procurement/spending, waive regulations, etc.
