Izuku sat at the park for hours and hours, constantly checking his phone.

"Too good to be true..."

He stood up from the park bench and put his phone in his pocket, and before he could even take a step, it began to pour rain.

"Damn it... can't one thing go right?"

He began running home and as he got home to his apartment, his phone dinged. He pulled out his phone from his soaked jeans and opened it to see a pic of Katsuki with his ex, Denki Kaminari.

"Son of a bitch!"

Izuku hurled his phone at the wall as he broke down in sobs. His roommates, Himiko Toga and Touya Todoroki, ran out of their rooms to see Izuku breaking down.

"Izu?! What's wrong?"

Toga rushed down to his side.

"He's an asshole..."

"Oh Izu..."

Touya then approached.

"Take a hot shower. She and I will make you dinner. Then you can tell us everything."

Izuku nodded as he wiped his face and walked to his room to get his things and then went to take a shower. Toga and Touya couldn't help but feel bad for the greenette.

After Izuku got out of the shower, the three of them sat down at the table and Izuku explained the events that had transpired.

Touya scoffed.

"Fucking asshole..."

"How could he do that?! You've liked him for a long time now! You confess and he strung you along! The nerve!"

"It's ok... maybe he and I aren't meant to be with each other. In any capacity. I already blocked him on everything. I just... wish he would have told me and not wasted my time."

Izuku finished his food and put the plate in the sink.

"Thank you, guys. I'm going to go to bed."

Toga and Touya both nodded as they watched Izuku walk off sadly to his room.

"You know, Dabi. This is your chance to confess to him. You've always had to hots for Izuku since high school."

"Pipe down, dumbass! Let the dude heal first. He's liked that idiot since he can remember. You can't move on that quickly."

Toga just shrugged.

"Whatever. I'm going to bed. My professor will expel me from the university if I'm tardy again."

Dabi watched as she left before going to his room.

Katsuki woke up the next day, Denki on the other side of the bed and smiled. He then looked at his phone. Some messages and missed calls from Izuku.

"Shit! I completely forgot!"

He input Izuku's number, but instead was met with a message saying his number could not be-

-reached.

"What...? The nerd fucking blocked me?"

He then looked over to Denki, placing a kiss on his forehead before leaving.

He made his way to the university where he saw Izuku walking by himself, but he looked different. His eyes had dark circles under them and they were red. He definitely looked exhausted. He walked towards him, calling out his name.

"Deku!"

Izuku looked at him, but instead of the normal excitement he has, his stare was cold. Angry.

"It's 'Midoriya', Bakugou."

"Wha?! What happened to 'Kacchan'?!"

"What happened to our date?"

"Seriously?! That's what this is about?! You know how I feel about Denki!"

Izuku turned to leave, saying something before.

"And you knew how I felt about you. Unlike Kaminari, I never questioned how I felt about you. If he never did, he wouldn't have broken up the first time."

"Deku..."

"It's 'Midoriya'. Sorry, Bakugou, but I don't think we can even be friends. I've been hurt too many times. I can't do it anymore."

"I thought we were past everything! You said you forgave me, asshole!"

"You made your choice. Now leave me alone."

Izuku left as Katsuki continued to yell at him. Like Izuku had said. Katsuki made his choice. And Izuku was making his.

Izuku entered his last class of the day that he shared with Toga and Dabi.

"Hey, Greenie."

"Izu!!"

"Hi, guys."

He sat down at their table as they-

-worked on their group project. After they were done, they decided to go to a café. While eating, they were approached by someone. Izuku looked up to see who it was.

"Kaminari?"

"Hi, Midoriya."

"Can I help you?"

"I just wanted to apologize. I had no idea Katsuki had plans with you last night. I only found out when I met up with him earlier and heard him muttering about you under his breath."

Izuku could see Denki was being sincere and stood up, placing his hand on Denki's shoulder.

"It's ok, Kaminari. It just opened up my eyes to how things were. Katsuki took my friendship for granted. As much as it hurts, I have to move on."

"A-are you sure? He is your childhood friend."

"/Was/ my childhood friend. And yeah, I'm sure. I hope you two will be happy together."

Toga and Dabi then stood up as the Izuku and his friends left.

~2 months later~

Izuku had pretty much recovered and was back to his happy self. He hadn't paid much attention to Katsuki since their last interaction and Katsuki had seemed to give up trying. Izuku was sitting in his room when he heard a knock on his bedroom door.

He opened it to reveal Dabi.

"What are you doing? You usually just barge in?"

"Go out with me."

Izuku looked suprised before smiling.

"Took you long enough."

"Wha- you fucking knew?!"

"Toga told me."

"That bi-"

Izuku shut him up by pressing his lips on Dabi's, catching-

-him off guard. Izuku then pulled back.

"I'll go out with you."

"G-good! I uh... I have a reservatiom set for 7 tonight. I'll pick you up!"

Izuku chuckled.

"Ok. I'll be ready."

Izuku shut his door, smiling from ear to ear.

Katsuki couldn't help but scroll through-

-his insta when he saw a photo posted by Dabi. A picture of him and Izuku holding hands and kissing Izuku's cheek. Katsuki couldn't help but be hurt. Denki had broken up with him again a week after everything and now he lost Izuku due to his damn feelings. Now he sat alone,-

-wishing he could go back in time and change his mind. Then maybe he would still have his favorite person in his life.
