Title: Having a closer walk with God.

Our work and walk with God, as believers, is for a purpose; there's a destination.

Walking with God is with awareness' you know it and God knows it too.
Walking with God is more internally than externally.

God desires that we are close to Him. God's purpose of creation is to walk with Him. Leviticus 26:12

When you are closer to God, it becomes more easier to recognize His voice.
There are levels in walking with God but we can always be closer irrespective of the level we are.

Your closeness to God is determined by you. Also, know that God wants you.

You have the right to come before God by yourself and He desires that we come boldly. Hebrews 4:16
How to come boldly.
1. Having knowledge and understanding of God. Amos 3:3, John 4:22.
Having the desire to know God. Philippians 3:10

The knowledge of God you have will stir you up to want to know more.

Closer relationship with God births trust.
2. Having the right attitude.
When you have a positive attitude, it is possible to know God beyond beyond the shallow level.

Have the consciousness that whatever or wherever you are, God is there with you.

Whatever you do, do it as unto God.
God should not just be your acquaintance. God loves consistency and He wants you to seek Him consistently.

When you're afar, there's tendency to mess up, but when you are closer, He can hold you.
Benefits of walking with God.
1. Inner satisfaction.
2. Confidence in God's presence.
3. Demonstration of God's power.

Challenges.
Your faith will be tested. James 4:4

Trust God in the midst of it all and enjoy walking with Him.

Beyond bearing child(ren), there are people that God has placed as father figure around us.

The blessing of a father is more important than gifts. Genesis 25:1-5
Blessings: a public declaration of a favored status with God or with man.
Endowing power for prosperity and success upon a person.

A blessing of a father upon a life can birth visions for such a person.
Beyond material gifting, the blessings a father have is always transferred to the first child.

The love of a father can not be quantified. Genesis 49:1-4

Fathers, naturally wants their children to be greater than them.

Some things are consistent with the nature of God.
1. It's not in the nature of God to fail. Psalm 77:8
God has proven overtime that He never fail.
Rest your mind when you have promises from God, they will ALL come to pass. Isaiah 55:11
2. It's not in His nature to abandon His own. If you're on God's side, He will never abandon you. Psalm 37:17,25

God can show up in ways you don't imagine but He will never abandon you. Psalm 37:39

The cross is a place of an exchange where new life is obtained.

The cross is a place where our sin is exchanged for righteousness.

The cross is a place where we enter God.
Essence: the property, the most significant element, quality or aspect of a thing or person.

Element of Mercy.
Mercy is a reality in God given to us by the sovereignty of God. It shields us from what we truly deserve. Exodus 34:6, Lamentations 3:22

For every name, there is a reason(s) behind it.

Ecclesiastes 7:1
When God gives you a new name, it's an indication of new relationship and status.

This new season, the word of God shall be fulfilled and established because He has sent it forth. Isaiah 55:11, Numbers 23:19.

Don't think of how God will do it, just believe.

1Chronicles 4:9-10
There's no one that God can not possible change. He is able to rewrite your story.

Isaiah 55:8-9
If God has promised it, He will do it. Leave everything for God.

The life of a Christian is an empowered life.

The intention of God for every of His child is to know His ways and secrets.

Outcomes of an empowered life

This empowered life has been given to us through Jesus.

1. The empowered life should be seen in a believer.
A life that is empowered is a life with victory and result.
The desire of an empowered life I to leave the common level to uncommon level

Small means infinitesimal.
Galatians 5:9
There are some things that whether we pay attention to them or not, they are significant.

Size sometimes does not matter (examples of David and Goliath, Gideon and the 300 armies, Elijah and the Prophets of Baal)

Small could be destructive or impactful. Song 2:25
God's grace can permit little to make a bigger influence.

The little that is yielded to God has the capacity to accomplish much. Matthew 14:14, John 6:9

Small things that has significant effect.
