With graduation two weeks away, it was finally hitting Katsuki that Izuku would be moving to America for an amazing international internship afterwards. He plans the best day for them, just them. 🧡💚
Rain softly tapped at Katsuki's window. He sat with his legs dangling off the bed, and his head in his hands. Tears were filling his spectacular crimson eyes as he studied the ground, sniffles filling the room. His room was darkened as the night sky took over.
He flopped backwards on his bed, and placed his right arm on top of his forehead. His hair flattened against the soft comforter, and he squeezed his eyes shut. Tears escaped through the sides, and he let out a choked sob.
"Shit..." was the only thing he could let out of his mouth before more sobs followed.
He was acutely aware of the amazing opportunity this overseas internship would give Izuku, but Katsuki couldn't fathom a world without his lover, without his boyfriend, without his love, right by his side. Izuku was his everything, and without him, what was Katsuki?
The blonde didn't know how long Izuku would be gone for, the greenette hadn't mentioned that detail, but he really didn't want to know. As he had made abundantly clear thousands of times, he wanted Izuku at arms length, and he couldn't have that with Izuku across the world.
Katsuki pushed himself upwards, and leaned on his hands. He looked around his bland room, and eyed his desk. Several pictures, polaroids specifically, were framed and sat carefully. These photos contained Katsuki and his lovely boyfriend, with one picture with his idiots.
He got off his bed and walked over towards his personal favorite, lifting it. It was a photo from the boys' first date by a magnificent cherry blossom tree. Izuku's index finger and thumb on his right hand held Katsuki's chin as he placed a kiss there.
Katsuki was smiling softly, his eyes noticeably filled with nothing but love. The photo was only from the shoulders up, but it was obvious (from Katsuki's point of view anyways), that Izuku was pressed against the blonde's body.
Katsuki had wrapped his arm around the latter's waist, pulling him closer. Gorgeous emerald eyes were closed, but from that beautiful smile that Izuku had, it was obvious how happy he was.
Katsuki chuckled at the memory, before setting the picture back down, and grabbed his second favorite image. The two were in Izuku's room, and were cuddling on Izuku's All Might covered bed. The greenie's head was tucked under Katsuki's chin.
He had the softest smile sitting on his face, and his emerald eyes twinkled with joy and sparked with love. Katsuki was smirking, per usual, and his sleepy eyes were half-lidded. It was Izuku who took this photo, after convincing Katsuki to stay up three seconds more.
(He looked cute sleepy, could you blame Izuku?!) Katsuki's head was entirely resting on Izuku's, and his arm was laying on Izuku's shoulders. The fluorescent lights from the TV brightened Izuku's curly forest green hair, and Katsuki smiled and the brightness.
He set the polaroid down, and an idea came to mind. He wiped any remaining tears left on his cheeks and in his eyes, and quickly left his dorm. He jogged three doors down, and knocked on a familiar oak door.
Katsuki stepped back and patiently waited for his boyfriend to come answer, and when he did, the blonde fell in love all over again. No, the greenie wasn't dressed in any particular way, but his curls were messier than usual.
His eyes were dull with exhaustion, but still held their wondrous shine. A faint blush covered his freckled cheek, and Katsuki's skull t-shirt sloppily laid on his torso. Katsuki looked his boyfriend up and down, before walking closer to him.
He cupped both of his cheeks, and pulled his face to Katsuki's own. Katsuki kissed Izuku, and the greenette leaned into it without hesitation. Izuku snaked both arms under Katsuki's, then rested his hands on the latter's shoulders.
Katsuki deepened the kiss for a second, then pulled away. The faint blush that was on Izuku's cheeks became more vibrant, and Izuku smiled sleepily.
"Yes, my love?" Fuck, even his tired and soft voice was cute as shit. Of course, Katsuki knew this, but he loved it even more.
Butterflies filled Katsuki's stomach as he cleared his throat.
"Uhm, shit, I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date tomorrow? You and me, the whole day. No distractions, no patrol, nothing. Just you and me."
Izuku's eyes searched for something in Katsuki's, and when he didn't find it, he giggled. He was definitely awake now.
"I would love absolutely nothing more, my beautiful boy." Katsuki's heart was pounding now.
"Ahem, sweet, perfect, amazing. I'll come get you at 9am, yeah?"
Izuku chuckled and dropped his arms. He grabbed Katsuki's hand and started pulling him into his dorm.
"9am is perfect, but who said you were leaving my side tonight, baby?"
Fuck, can those stupid ass butterflies go away now?! Fuck!
Katsuki gulped and let Izuku drag him inside. The door shut behind him, and Izuku's lips were back on Katsuki's. His scar-covered arms wrapped around Katsuki's neck, and Katsuki's wrapped around Izuku's waist.
Once they pulled away, Izuku leaned his forehead on Katsuki's.
"You were crying, weren't you?"
"Huh? Where'd you get that-"
"Kacchan," Izuku's voice was stern, "Your eyes are bloodshot and your voice is hoarse. Besides, you have dried up tears on your cheeks..."
Katsuki looked at the ground, well, at Izuku's chest, and swallowed any ounce of pride he had.
TBC(?)
idk i randomly got this idea so i may continue it but i'm not sure 😅🧡💚
Izuku moved one hand to cup Katsuki's cheek, and lightly grazed his fingers over tear-stained skin. Katsuki gripped Izuku's wrist, and let out a quiet sob, tears falling down his cheeks.
He knew he would be sad and worried over Izuku leaving to go to America, but he had never anticipated his feelings being /this/ damn strong.
"Oh, honey..." Izuku pulled Katsuki's head down to lay on his chest, and started brushing his fingers through thick blonde spikes.
"You don't want me to leave, huh?" At that question, Katsuki started crying harder. He was shaking now as he squeezed Izuku closer, not wanting to let go.
Izuku kissed the top of Katsuki's head, and swayed slowly from side to side.
Tears filled emerald eyes as the true reality had also hit Izuku. Of course, the greenette knew what was coming in the next two weeks, but it still hadn't sunk in that he was actually leaving. It hadn't sunk in that he was leaving his beloved Kacchan.
As Katsuki continued crying in Izuku's arms, Izuku heard the blonde whisper one thing.
"I don't want you to leave /me/..."
Izuku hadn't expected those words nor did he expect the influx of tears on his behalf.
But as he held Katsuki close and sobbed like a baby, he realized just how much he was going to miss the blonde. Again, he was well aware that he would miss his boyfriend of two years, but he never understood to what extent. But he finally realized it.
He would miss the weekly movie nights that always ended up with both boys drifting off into a peaceful slumber without ever finishing the actual movie.
He would miss the sweet notes that Katsuki would write to him because he didn't know how to say it out loud.
He would miss the soft nature of a usually so aggressive individual as he held Izuku with such care and genuine love it was unforgettable.
He would miss the hand holds and kisses that were planted on each scar whenever Katsuki noticed how insecure Izuku would get.
He would miss the warm hugs during the cold Japanese winters, and the small explosions that never failed to warm Izuku's body.
He would miss the love bites that would scatter his body from time to time.
He would miss Katsuki counting each and every freckle whenever the boys could not sleep.
But, most importantly, he would miss his damn Kacchan. The boy that was glued to his side no matter what. The boy that could, in Izuku's book, do no wrong. His love...
Izuku broke down in Katsuki's hold, and rested his chin on the blonde's shoulder. The sobs coming from Katsuki absolutely broke the greenie's heart, and his sobs broke Katsuki's heart.
It didn't feel real. Hell, neither boy wanted this to be real.
Eventually, Izuku and Katsuki had calmed themselves slightly. Katsuki lifted his head off Izuku's chest, and looked into glossy emerald eyes. The blonde kissed Izuku's forehead, one hand holding the back of green curls.
"Can I stay here tonight? I can leave in the morning so we can get ready."
Izuku sniffled and nodded, wiping his nose, "Of course you can stay, Kacchan. Come on." He pulled the boy to his bed, and they, immediately went into their cuddling positions.

because of all the new followers here! (welcome and thank you for following! i'm so happy you're here! 🥺💕), i'm reintroducing myself!:
A thread 🧵:
1) i go by May! It isn't my real name, however it is my middle name and it's hella pretty to me! (please don't ask what my real name is. i won't say it <3)
2) if you ask me how old i am, i won't respond with my age. i have had past issues (turned trauma) because i said my age on other social media platforms, so i just don't do that anymore
Izuku knew his feelings for Katsuki were never destined to be reciprocated. Their story wasn't lined by the stars, and Izuku was okay with that. He didn't /need/ Katsuki to return his affection. It was a want, sure, but he would survive without it.
Then, after graduation, Izuku learned that Katsuki and Eijirou were in a relationship. Six months long, at that. It stung once he found out, but he didn't focus on it. He was newly graduated with an amazing internship opportunity at Endeavor's agency! He'd be too busy anyways.

The Hero Gala is one of the biggest events in any hero's career, if not the largest. That night reveals rankings, special awards from the year, special recognitions, and so much more. With everyone dressed to the gods, the Hero Gala was always a night to remember.
"Babe, are you almost ready?!" Katsuki's voice was loud, and, at times, Izuku could have sworn the neighbors heard him. The prohero, who graduated last year, looked into the mirror at his reflection in the bathroom.
Katsuki was always the first student in the 1-A classroom every morning. Approximately twenty minutes later, more life would join the party as Izuku and his nerd friends would enter the class as well. Then everyone else.
So, Katsuki wasn't surprised when he was the only one in the classroom right at 7 o'clock on the dot. He was surprised, however, when the nerdsquad walked in at 7:20 /without/ Izuku. Figuring Izuku had some sort of thing with All Might, Katsuki didn't push it.
He did start worrying at 7:45 when there was still no sign of Izuku. 25 minutes past the time he was supposed to have arrived, and he still wasn't here. Katsuki got up from his seat and made his way towards Icy Hot, Pink Cheeks, and Glasses.
When Ashido had asked Izuku how her marriage was going, no one in that room was expecting /that/ answer. All eyes zeroed in on Izuku as they studied her body language and hoped that she was giving false information.
Eijirou was the first one to speak, "Wait. Rody Soul, the guy who's been in love with you for millions of years at this point, wants to divorce /you?!/" Izuku nodded and sighed before continuing the news.
