The threat of nuclear holocaust is more imminent than it has ever been; the blatant provoking of the nuclear-armed bear is simply one variation of Nixon's "Madman Theory."

The Cuban Missile Crisis brought the world to brink of nuclear war, as did Nixon's "madman theory," deploying 18 B-52 nuclear-capable bombers north of the USSR.
