Sejak jadi Head of Dept 5 tahun lepas, saya lalui banyak proses interview untuk calon marketers dan designers.

Saya perasan ramai yang buat kesilapan yang sama & menyebabkan tak dapat pergi ke top grading interview.

🧵 Ini 5 kesalahan yang korang kena avoid:
1/ Resume is not everything

・Jgn spend masa yg lama utk bagi resume nampak cun
・Focus pada bina portfolio - cari experience/class untuk bina credibility
・Share artikel yg ditulis, video yg diedit, poster yg didesign
・Supaya interviewer boleh access quality output tersebut
2/ Tak tunjuk your passionate side

・Ini boleh jadi deal-breaker bagi some managers like me
・Let’s say resume nampak ok, interview lepas je jawab tapi ada something missing
・You need to ‘wow’ us - apa challenges yg interested to you & why? Describe your passionate projects
3/ Tak tanya soalan berkenaan dgn kerja/company

・Mostly akan tanya pasal gaji & perks. Ok ni faham jela 😂
・Tapi don’t stop there. Ask more about company; berapa ramai staff, how’s the culture
・This shows that you guys care about the job/company rather than just money
4/ Tak jawab soalan yang ditanya atau rambling

・Part ni tricky sikit. Kita rasa kalau tak jawab, nnt kita tak diterima kerja kat situ
・Honestly, kalau tak tahu, jawab je tak tahu. Jimat masa semua org kat situ
・This demostrate your honesty and can be trusted
5/ Tak kenal diri sendiri

・ Soalan yg biasa ditanya - what are your strengths & weaknesses?
・Selalu dijawab dlm satu ayat shj. Jawapan yg bagus adalah share sekali contoh situasi or success stories
・Secara tak langsung demostrate sekali skill2 yg lain - wow us!

Bagaimana nak train org utk buat contents & copywriting yg betul?

Honestly, saya pun belajar sendiri. And I'm grateful to be learning and working with talented people in that area.

Here's my 5 key takeaway: #thread
1) Dengar & Belajar

• Pay attention to reviews, comments, DMs. Find out apa pain point/impian mereka.
• Buat content yg menjawab persoalan/pain point mereka
• Take note phrase apa org selalu guna.
• Tulis dari perspective customer. Bila customer baca pun, boleh rasa related.
2) Kuasai basic copywriting:

• Start with a statement or question that create curiosity
• Balance between features & benefits
• Masukkan review/testimoni utk dapatkan trust (make sure it's genuine, bukan dibuat-buat).
• CTA kena jelas (tekan link, Whatsapp kami)

- Fokus on planning. Tak perlu nak update di social media
- Plan nak post apa pada hari Selasa sehingga Ahad
- Pelbagaikan bentuk content (gambar, short video, poster, meme etc)
- Kalau sempat, start buat content sampai hari Khamis
Selasa:

- Sambung buat content.
- Schedule post sehingga hari Khamis (Creator Studio/ Buffer/Later)
- Share posting tersebut dekat Story, tag produk/profile yang berkaitan & letak hashtag

Rebranding: Selepas tukar visual, komunikasi adalah next crucial part.

1) Objektif bagi clear & simple

- Kita tukar logo (visual) not our brand values. Benda ini kena bagi clear betul2.
- Kita masih berpegang value yg sama, kita tak ubah benda ini.
- Value adalah what we stand for, our central idea. Why do we exist? Logo is part of visual.
2) Provide strategic blueprint

- Ini perlu disediakan dgn kerjasama top management & consultant
- Highlight apa key message yg kita nak communicate dgn customers & stakeholder
- Benda ini penting supaya execution team pun boleh rujuk bila2
