I am thrilled to announce that I'm joining @StarkWareLtd as #StarkNet Ecosystem Lead.
I will take this role with @GuthL, the pioneer Ecosystem Lead.
Our mission: spurring the growth of a community of developers around #StarkNet.
How I see this and what is my motivation ? 🧵

First of all, I want to say that I feel with #StarkNet the early vibes of #Ethereum.
The ecosystem is growing fast, and the community is vibrant.
I like to see all this creativity that is coming to StarkNet. I am convinced that we'll see a huge wave of innovation coming.

Ethereum is without any doubt the best settlement layer out there. Its security and decentralization are unmatched among all smart contract L1s. As well as the community of builders is truly awesome, and the research effort is impressive. However...

#zkrollups
...to unleash its full power Ethereum needs efficient scaling solutions. And to me, ZK rollups (validity rollups) are well positioned to achieve this role. Relying on math to provide validity of computation is very aligned with my vision of a decentralized world.

There are many great ZK rollups initiatives, and I appreciate all of those solutions.
I have a preference for STARKS over SNARKS, mainly because they don't need trusted setup, the post quantum resistance, and the performances.

At first, I was a bit worried about StarkNet not being EVM compatible. Then I totally changed my mind when I realized that this would also mean not being limited by the EVM capabilities.

@CairoLang is to me an incredible innovation, turning "Moon Math" into a powerful tool to create arbitrary and turing complete computation that are provable.
And you don't need to understand the underlying math to build complex decentralized applications with Cairo.

Anyway, I have many more reasons to be extremely bullish on #StarkNet, and I will detail more those reasons in the coming weeks. But let's talk a bit more about my role at @StarkWareLtd.
First, I am glad to have the opportunity to take this responsibility with @GuthL as he is...

..one of the people that contributed to #StarkPill me. There is also @henrlihenrli obviously, with his relaxing voice 🤣
@GuthL and I, as Ecosystem Lead, are responsible of stimulating the growth of StarkNet.
Our role is to bring talented devs to the ecosystem and guide them.

@GuthL and I are really complementary, we have different profiles, and together, we can leverage our skills to work efficiently and boost the growth of StarkNet.
My technical background will enable me to provide some guidance to projects.
I am really attached to the level of..

..quality of the projects that are building on StarkNet. I believe that standardization will be an important factor for the ecosystem to grow in the right direction, always keeping in mind interoperability and security concerns.

I will detail more in the coming weeks and months how I aim to achieve my mission. And I will communicate a lot with all builders on StarkNet ecosystem. StarkNet builders, expect to have news from me soon.
I would like to deeply thank @ukolodny for his trust in me.

I can't wait to work with my new team, with amazing folks like @avihu28 , @bbrandtom , @OhadBarta, @YaelDoweck, @henrlihenrli , and many more brillant folks from @StarkWareLtd, including the OG Stark Maxi @EliBenSasson .

I will communicate soon about what that means for @OnlyDust_xyz , but the spoiler is: nothing but good things. I will continue to collaborate with Only Dust, as they are also working on helping the growth of StarkNet, bringing devs and finding them contributions.
