Learn more: ow.ly/Vmx150JVZVk NACI National Advisory Committee on Immunization Vaccines fo
(2/5) NACI carefully reviewed the available evidence, and like other age groups, recommends a 2-dose primary series with an interval of 8 weeks between the 1st and 2nd dose.
(3/5) NACI recommends that a 3-dose primary series may be offered to children 6 months to 5 years of age who are immunocompromised with an interval of 4 to 8 weeks between each dose.
(4/5) For children who have had COVID-19, NACI suggests waiting 8 weeks after a positive test or the start of symptoms before starting or continuing a primary series. This interval may be shortened for children who are immunocompromised.
(5/5) Most children who get #Covid19 have no or mild symptoms, but some, including previously healthy children, can get very ill and require hospitalization. #CovidVaccines provide very good protection against severe illness, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19.
