The Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO)

An institution which paved its way to become an integral part of the human space programs and made India, an emerging centre for upcoming exciting space technologies.

(2/14)
Lets have a look at some of the upcoming missions of ISRO.

The Gaganyaan Mission, it is India's crewed mission that aims to send humans to Lower Earth Orbit (LEO)and bring them back safely.

(3/14)
It comprises of two unmanned missions in second half of 2022 and one manned mission in 2023.

(4/14)
For the Gaganyaan mission, ISRO has indigenously developed new technologies including a human-rated launch vehicle, crew escape systems, a habitable orbital module, and a life support system.

(5/14)
The entire mission costs around ₹9000 Crores partnering with otger institutions like DRDO , Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard.

Aditya L-1
The Adiya L-1 mission is India's first mission to study the sun.

(6/14)
It aims to launch a satellite at Lagrangian Point 1 i.e. L-1 of the halo orbit of the Sun-Earth system.

The Satellite will carry 6 different payloads to a point approximately 1.5 million kilometres from Earth. It includes Visible Emission Line Coronagraph (VELC):

(7/14)
It will work on imaging and study of the magnetic field and other parameters of the outer layers of the sun extending to thousands of kilometres.

(8/14)
Aditya Solar wind Particle experiment (ASPEX):
This payload will analyse the composition of the solar winds and its energy distribution.

(9/14)
Magnetometer:
It will measure the magnitude and nature of Interplanetary magnetic field, the solar magnetic field starting from the sun to the solar system.

(10/14)
Chandrayaan-3
ISRO aims to launch Chandrayaan-3 in an attempt to *‘soft land’ on the moon,* after Chandrayaan-2 just failed to soft land due to lost communication at the last phase.

(11/14)
Chandrayaan-3 being a repeat mission of the previous mission will carry the rover and lander excluding the orbiter. It will additionally include Laser Doppler Veolcimeter (LDV).

The mission will be launched through tbe GSLV MARK lll rocket andnis scheduled in 2023.

(12/14)
To run the space race, you need to be the technical ace, remain in the makeshifter phase and that's how ISRO is winning it! The stories of Vikas Engine and Mangalyaan emphasize that ideas are always greater than budgets.

(13/14)
Tell us about some projects of ISRO that inspire you to think out of the box.
