I appreciated the the use of the term Indigenous people and Native people rather than First Nations. It was far more inclusive of all the people including unceded and off-rez and those disenfranchised by blood quantum laws. @Pontifex thank you.

Canada is using Provincial lines to deny access and transparency to Provincial repository records. Mi’kmaw only have records accessible in Quebec and the rest is inaccessible. Is that to hide residential schools info?

@Pontifex please remember the Acadians of Caraquet of the lines of Chief Henri Membertou as you visit Canada. We paid a hellish price to retain our faith.
My family line is here. My family suffered under the Charles Robin Jersey Fishing Company and many were raped and abused by priests. We are Roman Catholics kept under an Episcopal Cathedral in Moncton. Canada did that.
This first man Pere Maillet raped my uncle at school as my mom cried outside the locked door. She said his spirit died that day. The other one Pere Roche raped my Aunt and she had his baby.
