1/ Operational update regarding the #russian_invasion at 1800 on July 26, 2022.
No major changes on the entire front line But Ru have minor success & losses with small assaults groups. #UAarmy is resisting. In some place doubt remains #UkraineMap#UkraineRussianWar#CarteUkraine
2/ from gen staff report -
3/ Ru partially improved the tactical position in the direction of the settlements of #Soledar and #Vershyna. Attempts by the enemy to carry out assaults in the direction of the settlements of Yakovlivka, Bakhmut and #Semihirya failed. Here the enemy units retreated with losses.
4/ Russians Carried out airstrikes near Yakovlivka, Pokrovske and Vesela Dolyna.
In the districts of Berestove and Nahirny, the occupiers unsuccessfully tried to clarify the positions of our troops by means of reconnaissance groups. #UkraineMap
5/ Violating the customs of war and for the purpose of misleading, the russian invaders used the field uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with white bandages on their arms and legs during the assault in the area of #Pisky settlement.
6/ quick thread regarding the situation i started to report 2/3 days ago. first form offcial sources and local believable sources and army pics. As i said there is really something going on in the area of #Izyum to #Sloviansk
but nothing with hard evidence for now. for instance,
7/ today's report noticed that Ukr defended some postions & attacks in the area of #Brazhkivka but it's not the same as defending the city. so i've seen 2 major accounts making giving UKr the city itself which is not true.
but we had confirmation that Ukr defended strong postions
8/ in the directions of Pasika which is a good signs. also reports from some ru troops leaving the area.. but same there.., still no direct confirmation to my knowledge that any Ukr are there..
so people should really be carefull not to be too happy too soon. it could be a nice
9/ surprise though if Ukr regains some of these areas.. but remember it would be only because Ru are now exclusively sending a maximum of troops to the #Zaporijia "zone" for at least 72hours now. it seems they have shift priorities again.
so when i made this "fun" map, early May
10/ (widely "borrowed".. by the way)
then we had the "sense" that the #Izyum salient made some sense, as their primary goal was to take in one piece the entire Donetsk Oblast.
except they failed miserably. So now what's the point to push there only to have failures.
they might
11/ want to stay at least up to Izyum wide area, to control this "zone" in order to counter the progress of Ukrainians.. but i'm not sure they want to really try anything there no more (for now at least)
but they can resume when new BTGs will come in in couple months though.
12/ Reminder of the last official situation.
and the real point now that still surprises me : the fact that UKr have success beyond the donets "line" of defense that we thought, Ru would absolutely defends at any price (same for Ukr of course)
13/ and also a reminder of the situation near #Izyum area on the 25th of April just when that area made full sense for Ru to be there...
and a lots of people (actually i recall almost all "serious" accounts here on this social network) claiming it would be a walk in the park..
14 a/ and this is the official report from last night, translated this morning, but i had no time to talk about it. "Russian forces are undertaking a “massive redeployment” of troops to three southern regions of Ukraine in what appears to be a change of tactics by Moscow, senior
14 b/ adviser to #Zelenskiy said on Wednesday. Oleksiy #Arestovych also said Russia was sending troops to the Melitopol and Zaporizhzhia regions and Kherson, signalling a change in tactics to strategic defence to offence (attack mode)...
but actually Ru already tried to do
14 c/ similar back in early June when Ru where full of hope..
except days after that the massive breach of Ukr forces through #Inhulet 's river forced massive move of forces directly to that area.
(now bidges are down, not going to be as easy.;-)
reminder
28/ and last one of the day (which was one of the first i rt this morning.. phew... it was a hard day for me to catch up with everything and finish the global thread of the gen "infos" of the day..

1/ The operation itself took place on July 12 – 13 in Bilohorivka, Luhansk region – the territory occupied by russians at that moment. The "KRAKEN" detachment published a video, showing the key stages of the Ukrainian counter-offense: artillery preparations (wiping out local
2/ russian headquarters, vehicles and fire positions), and the armed raid itself.
The location of Bilohorivka. According to open data, it is currently at least half under contrl by russian occupation forces.
And now, we have an opportunity to get some details from the
3/ perspective of the seized russian soldier who was stationed in Bilohorivka on the day of the raid.
According to him, on July 13 while being on an observation post, he only noticed the approach of Ukrainian forces when they had already entered the settlement. The reason is, the

No major changes on the entire front line. Russians conducted several assaults & reco ops but had no success whatsoever. #UAarmy resisted everywhere. #UkraineMap#UkraineRussianWar#CarteUkraine
2/ actually if you don't count the #Lyssychansk retreat which was only initiate for the safety of the soldiers, by direct order of the President himself, that's about 3 weeks that's Russian are not going anywhere!
I'm old enough to remember all the genius out there claiming Ukr
3/ should directly retreat and retreat again to the #Sloviansk - #Kramatorsk line of defense.. #Siversk was a "done deal" for Russian 3 weeks ago... right??? yeah bite me!
Ukr have drained the russian, stomp their momentum, shut down their will.
