🇺🇦🧵🗣️Another report from Kenneth Gregg #UkraineUnderAttaсk : (1/15) "This morning, starting with the activities of the Russians, we can now conclude that #Bakhmut is certainly their big target. On the #Bakhmutske-#Semyhiria line they attack with everything they have. ⬇️
2:"Most of the fighting is over open fields and small groves. In this area it is still about 10 km to our main line of defense. North of Bakhmut and around #Sloviansk they have not advanced at all - on the contrary they are being pushed back in these areas.⬇️
3:"A worrying trend the Russians show is that they have started to use Ukrainian uniforms (Nato standard) with our recognition marks. This is a war crime, but what can you expect from Russians?

So to the our successes before I bring up the 'Forgotten Kharkiv'.⬇️
4:"We have knocked out arms depots in #Alchevsk, which has been occupied since 2014. Since the distance from safe ground is about 50 km, we have used arms from the West. In #Nova #Kakhovka there has been a series of explosions, probably weapons and fuel dumps. ⬇️
5:"In Kherson and in Ilovaisk (Donetsk) the Russians have started arresting anyone who looks too Ukrainian as a guerilla/helper - what a panic!

So to the 'forgotten' war in #Kharkiv. Neither the Russians nor we have enough resources to make a difference. ⬇️
6:"We both lack artillery, helicopters and armour.
The following description is from the platoon I helped train and they are 'somewhere' north of Kharkiv: There is no real battle line but the small villages here and there are either in our hands or the Russians.⬇️
7:"There are basically no organized infantry attacks, only fighting between reconnaissance or saboteur groups. In other words, the whole front line is fortified by light infantry. The tanks the Russians have do not want to come closer than 1 km from our positions (NLAWS!). ⬇️
8:"2-3 tanks come up to this 1 km zone and fire 5 rounds, then they change position a couple of times and each time fire their 5 rounds and then withdraw. Same thing their helicopters do, go up at their bases, fly a few km and fire their rockets and then quickly descend again.⬇️
9:"Well, we do the same. On the other hand, the Russians have an advantage in the number of drones, through which they see our positions and can aim fire directly at us, hence the overwhelming number of shrapnel casualties. Our special forces are not over-represented either.⬇️
10:"We go to the front line when we have a task, carry it out and return to base. To end the terror bombing of Kharkiv we MUST take out their heavy artillery bases across the border or at least get all the heavy weapons to the front to push the Russians back across the border.⬇️
11:"As for medical care, we are also woefully under-resourced, we are short of everything. Even field hospitals and field doctors. As things stand, it seems that neither we nor the Russians have Kharkiv as a priority.⬇️
12:"Finally a few words on the general perception of the war from the point of view of the 'experts'. Thankfully, more and more experts have begun to realise that a peace in which we have to give up territory de facto creates a greater security risk for Europe than ongoing war.⬇️
13:"These experts, which only 2 weeks ago were of the opposite opinion, now believe that only a Russian defeat in Ukraine is the guarantee of a higher security situation in Europe.(Why are our Nordic media not reporting on this?) ⬇️
14:"Is it perhaps the reverse opinion of these 'experts' that has now opened up the possibility of us getting fighter jets? Why did it take so damn long for them to realize this, we have known it since the beginning of the war.⬇️
15:"Tomorrow I will deal with the picture of our internal threat which has now proved to be much more serious than we thought. #SlavaUkrayini "🚫

🇺🇦🧵🗣️Yet another report from Kenneth Gregg #UkraineUnderAttack issued yesterday evening (1/6): "It has been a day when the Russians have NOT ADVANCED a single meter. However, we have countered all their attacks and caused the tourists stinging losses. ⬇️
2:"In the following places there is no more Russian domination, i.e. we have taken back ground: at #Vyskopillia (Kherson region) we have now cornered the Russians in an area 5 km long and 3 km wide, they are basically surrounded and they have up to 1000 men in this small area.⬇️
3:"At the Marinka-Oleksandrivka line we have also pushed them back and consolidated our hold on the road going to Donetsk. In other words, we have pushed them back in an area that has been occupied since 2014. It is a matter of a small piece of land but it is now the first time⬇️

🇺🇦🧵👥I mostly mention Kenneth Gregg but I think I should mention some other Scandinavians as well, for example the Swede Jonas von Matern. He is not fighting in #Ukraine but collecting funds for necessary hardware. I will let him talk now: (1/7)
2:"This was my 9th trip down to Ukraine since march. 2900 km. 150 days of war. It is a strange feeling to one day be at the front, waking up to explosions every night between 3 and 5, and then go back to sleep 10 min later. ⬇️
3:"Seeing how the people clean up the broken glass every morning and then get on with there life. And a few days later be back over the border to Poland and a country in peace. Where the sound of a jet engine doesn't mean that a cruise missile is coming. ⬇️

🇺🇦🧵🗣️Sunday morning update from Kenneth Gregg #UkraineRussiaWar (1/12): "The Russians are eagerly trying to destroy the #Pokrovske and #Vuhlehirsk power stations. Wave after wave has been sent but they have all been defeated. My friend at the Vuhleirsk power station is⬇️
2:"...completely baffled with what the Russians are up to. The Russians have not advanced one meter in the last 24 hours.
{I have given my friend a can of Swedish fermented herring ("surströmming") and they have already had their herring party down there. Got a video which I'll⬇️
3:"...post a bit later as it reveals too much about their position, so for security reasons you'll have to wait a bit. This much I can reveal: they have a military dog and IT liked both the smell and taste of the fermented herring.}⬇️

🇺🇦🧵🗣My 'daily' Kenneth Gregg #UkraineUnderAttaсk (1/11):"Good news from the Eastern Front. Yesterday the Russians tried to break through at #Verknokhaminske, #Bilohdrivka, #Bakhmutske, #Veseladolyna and #Travnerne but were quite easily beaten back.➡️
2:"On the line #Dolomitne-Novoluhanske likewise with the same result. Fighting is currently taking place at the power plant in #Vuhlehirsk and at #Striapvika-Soledar. The quality of their attacks has dropped drastically due to misdirection of their shelling.➡️
3:"A shining example of their misdirected shelling is probably yesterday's shelling of #Zaporizhzhia, 20 missiles fired with MLRS and most of them landed in the Dnipro river. Very expensive fishing! Remember that the main line of defense is not where we are now fending off the ➡️

🇺🇦🧵🗣New update from Kenneth Gregg #UkraineRussianWar (1/12) : "The Russians haven't exactly rested on their laurels, but they are still losing ground in the #Luhansk area. Even their attacks on #Sloviansk have been standing and treading water now for a whole week.---
2:"Their morale and equipment are starting to wear off, it's hot and many of the Russian tourists are still in winter clothes. Now our artillery, with western pieces, has also started to cause panic due to accuracy. ---
3:"According to intercepted conversations between Russian soldiers and their relatives, the infantry soldiers complain about the incompetence of their artillery, many of whom have only had 1 week of training before being sent to the front. ---

🇺🇦🧵🗣️Today's Kenneth Gregg report: (1/11) "Tonight, ZHELENSKY has ordered Ukraine's armed forces to liberate SOUTHERN UKRAINE. This means that they consider themselves to have enough weapons and manpower to start the offensive. -->
2:"Remains to make the detailed plans so my guess is that within 2 weeks we have a full-scale offensive underway.
The transport of the new weapons and ammunition has taken place in such a way that the Russians had no clues about it, -->
3:"...which shows the innovation ability the army and private individuals possess in this WONDERFUL COUNTRY.
The Russians are in the middle of a regrouping that is under fire, their maintenance lines are under constant sabotage and they must now get all the equipment they -->
