Last Thursday, I had the great honor to interview Admiral Chuck Kubic. We hope to post the final version later this week, and I'll let you know soon as we do. Today, we're going to follow his guidance.
2) For those of you who don't know Veterans For America First, yet, you'll want to head over to check out the tremendous wealth of information and service we provide. Admiral Kubic is our National Spokesperson.
3) If you check out the About Us page, there, you'll find me towards the bottom, the newest member of the Advisory Board. It is a tremendous honor to be able to serve.
4) Introductions complete, let's turn right to Admiral Kubic's challenge. It begins like this:
Veterans
Obligated
To
Engage
America’s
Simple
Action
Plan
VOTE ASAP !!!
It's just 8 terms, crunched down to two powerful acronyms. We're going to take each term in turn.
5) Veterans - why veterans? What we've learned in America's history is this. Our principles, those embedded in our Declaration and Constitution, require the iron spine that military service grows within a man's soul. Veterans are America's greatest leaders.
6) Obligated - As you check out the VFAF website, you'll see that there is no expiration on the oath that all veterans took upon entry into service. The lifelong nature of this oath has a type of power that those of us who did not take the oath can only imagine.
7) To - Such a small, seemingly insignificant word. Yet, if you're obligated, your obligated TO do...something. An obligation is no mere condition or state. It is a direction, a target. The word "To" indicates the steps between commencement and completion.
8) Engage - If there's a single failure that best accounts for the decrepit condition of America, it is OUR failure to engage our veterans. Yet Admiral Kubic calls on all veterans to take charge and engage, now. It is, he tells us, each veteran's obligation. That's profound.
9) Consider the spectacular nature of military planning. Everyone should plan, and plan for every important outcome in life. Yet, how many of us engage in any real planning at all, let alone military caliber planning? More on that below...
10) America's - Back in 2016, none of us in the MAGA Movement knew that America First would evolve into our great call to action. But we've always known that the world demands our leadership. For this, we require a call to action.
11) Simple - Our military readers will know SMEAC. If you're interested, this powerful document will help. Greatly. But it is too complex to be our call to action. We require something truly simple, the real thing.
12) Action - Ah, now we come down to it. Our military men and women know all about action. The rest of us, not so much. We think that if we vote, we've done enough. But it's not so. We must take MORE action than that. Ensuring that requires a...
13) Plan - Admiral Kubic has chosen to lead the charge in building a plan that will empower all veterans to step forward and lead the rest of us into action, now. Action to save America. He will lay out the intention. The plan will be built and conveyed to all.
14) #VOTEASAP - Veterans Obligation To Engage - America's Simple Action Plan. In closing today, let's reverse the flow. If our military men and women are our leaders - they are - then we civilians are the followers, obviously. We need a simple action plan format. We do.
15) There are scores of various acronyms for such things as planning and execution. The one here is my own creation, I think. It may, however, have been used before and besides, it offers nothing particularly superior over countless other such models. Yet, I offer it...
16) We won't take these words one by one as we did with Admiral Kubic's. I will, however, urge you to try them out. You'll find they're natural, and follow readily from one another. Perhaps there are two steps you might take first. Here they are, next...
17) Admiral Kubic will soon lay out the intention that we must accomplish.
So step one is listen to that intention.
Step two is simply the question:
How can I help make that happen?
That's where #CDAR comes in. Consider how you can help. Decide. Act. Review. Simple.
18) Now here's something really funny. One of the most powerful forms of action in the world is...JUST TALKING. That's right. Words. Voting is by the ballot. Getting people to vote is by words, by talking. Or writing. Or posting. Speak.
19) Talk to everyone you can. Ask questions. Do you plan on voting? For whom? Why? Tell people you support Trump. I often say, "Don't hate me for my politics, but I'm a huge Trump supporter." I make people laugh. I raise my hand and shoulder, protectively.
20) But there I go. That's just me. It's my SAC, Simple Action Plan. We're really going to build one here. Veterans will be our leaders, we their faithful and honored followers. ASAP. As Admiral Kubic demands of us, #AmericasSimpleActionPlan - #ASAP.

What follows are 10 quote selections I made earlier this morning. They're taken from @KateScopelliti's and my book that you see here. Please like and RT those that speak to you most strongly.
An early count of views has snippet 7 as our second best received after snippet 1. Here it is, and please, do sound off regarding your own thoughts and reactions, will you?
2) Watching this snippet, I was forced to the question "who?" As in, who exactly is being mustered? The community as a whole is one answer. A muster is for everyone, and it's both fun and important. Come together, community, a muster says, and contemplate our own body politic.
3) The most important audience is voters. Done @SandhillsKen's way, there is a very specific leaning. True conservatives. If I was running them, it would be a clear #MAGA leaning. But the idea of mustering to election is in no necessary way partisan at all. It's just American.
3) But why didn’t your civics education include my 4 Commandments? Simple. They are antithetical to the liberal left’s agenda. Their coup is NOT supported by aware patriots.
3) Let's talk about why this important. We always send promising conservatives to DC. DC laughs and welcomes them. DC corrupts them. We, the voters, get nothing. And they, the elected, face nothing. No consequence and then we send them back. Alas.
Testing: a mini-thread for getting started. Here is a 2-minute segment already posted. What follows are smaller snippets from it, along with a tiny bit if comment.
2) Our intro is the beginning 29 seconds where @SandhillsKen’s basic idea is laid out.
3) We turn now to the idea of stepping up and speaking with the voice of leadership in your own community, as well as recruiting others to the mission as well.
