thank you so much for taking this standpoint. unfortunately I feel that it's going to take a Human Rights challenge to get him to listen. #PwD are being treated like they are not even human. We are being subjected to living conditions that should count as torture.

Pay the rent, or buy food. There are #PwD being hospitalized regularly for malnutrition because they cannot afford more than one meal a day (if that) and that meal is generally rice or pasta. That level of Anxiety makes every other physical and mental disability we have worse

We suffer. We suffer continuously under the thought that any day we could get a call from ODSP (which is now rumored to be under mandate to cut as many ppl off as possible) saying our benefits have been rescinded.

We go to bed hungry, we go without medication because its not covered, we go without treatments like chiropractic care because its not covered.

We go without the simple dignities of clothing. We go without the rights to dream and hope that tomorrow will be better.

We go without the respect the constitution is supposed to say ALL HUMAN BEINGS ARE ENTITLED TO!

and we ask why, we are told its because we are lazy, we're just faking it, we're stealing taxpayer's money.

Convicted criminals serving time in prison are afforded more respect and dignity than #PwD. They are guaranteed 3 meals and a roof over their heads. They are guaranteed protection from physical and mental abuse from the Corrections officers, enforced by ombudsmen.

But I haven't heard ONE MP or MPP bring up that this is a violation of our human rights. I haven't heard ONE MPP discuss the fact we are treated like criminals even tho we've done nothing wrong.

This whole system is CRIMINAL, and it's been going on for more than 2 decades, perpetuated by both the Liberals and the Conservatives. Will you be the one to stand up in Queen's Park and confront @fordnation on how his government is continuing the Torture of ...
