Our partners are now able to create and manage did:cheqd DIDs more easily, and for the first time on cheqd issue and verify #VerifiableCredentials (VCs) and Verifiable Presentation (VPs).
👇
Having a readily available and transferable set of tools will help speed up adoption!
We knew our partners were eager to know “when will I be able to use the cheqd ledger for identity?” and now we’re happy to say “go have a play right now!”. 🔥
👇
Following our research earlier in the year, we explored the development frameworks that our #SSI partners planned to utilise in future. The purpose of it was to determine a suitable toolset for our frens to get building on our network.
A Software Development Kit (#SDK), in cheqd context, is a collection of libraries containing building blocks of #SSI which act as a bridge between cheqd and the identity apps provided by our partners.
👇
The @trustoverip website illustrates how SDK’s fit into the architecture of SSI and they’ve created a great interactive model which you can cheq out below.👇
Want to get technical?🤓
Combined with our existing packages, clients will now be able to create and manage keys for signing and encryption, create and update #DID & DID docs on cheqd as well as issue and verify VC’s and VP’s with #JWT proof format.
👇
JSON Web Token (JWT) jwt.io/introduction can state that a holder possesses a particular proof-of-possession (PoP) which can be cryptographically confirmed.
👇
In a nutshell 🌰
This is GREAT news! This is another huge step forward as our partners now have more tools to get building on the cheqd network. We’re all one step closer to making SSI a reality as we push forward the frontlines in the dirty trenches of the #DataWars! ⚔️🛡️
We're taking cheqd to a galaxy far, far away. Way beyond the Cosmos.☄️ 🌌

We never lost sight of what’s important, and that’s what you, our community, have to say. While playing lightsaber tennis with a few ideas, we thought we’d pitch it over to you.
We’re interested to know what token pairs you’d like to see next and where.
👇
Contributions will have a chance of getting a reward and we’re looking for genuine ideas that bring benefits to the community. An example would be a new pair on @osmosiszone or on another #DEX, this could be either @ethereum or @cosmos.
The Universal Resolver is a tool run by Danube Tech that enables interoperability for #DIDs by providing search and resolution (access to the results) of DIDs across networks.

It's directly related to the work that has been done by the @WebOfTrustInfo and @idworkshop communities around a Decentralized Public Key Infrastructure (#DPKI) and Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs).
Following on the testnet upgrade earlier this month, we are delighted to announce that the mainnet upgrade has now been successfully completed! 😀 This important upgrade paves the foundation for:
✅ Secure on-ledger schemas
✅ Credential Definitions
✅ Full AnonCreds support on cheqd
✅ Fully referenceable documents with DIDs
⏳ Schema overlays and evidence schemes
⏳ Privacy-preserving revocation registry
🆔The upgrade brought ‘Resources’ to the cheqd ledger which are often required in tandem with W3C Verifiable Credentials, to provide supporting information or additional context to verifiers receiving Verifiable Presentations.
We're pleased to announce a successful upgrade of the @cheqd_io test network which was completed with our new Interactive Installer
This upgrade of our testnet (mainnet to follow) is the first step in bringing a huge amount more utility to the @cheqd_io network
🧵
The primary feature being introduced in this upgrade is our 'resources' module which enables users to anchor “resources” to the @cheqd_io network...

In self-sovereign identity (#SSI) ecosystems, “resources” are often required in tandem with @w3c#VerifiableCredentials, to provide supporting information or additional context to verifiers (recievers of credentials) receiving Verifiable Presentations.

First up, @datadoghq, a tool that provides monitoring of servers, databases, tools, and services, through a SaaS-based data analytics platform.
You can think it like a task manager on your laptop
Using @datadoghq we keep an eye on metrics from @Tendermint_Core (e.g. if a validator double signs a transaction) and the @cosmossdk (e.g. transactions / day) to ensure the network runs smoothly & any security vulnerabilities/issues that may impact consensus are quickly resolved
