Take a piece of paper.

Keep it in sunlight as shown in the pic.
How long will it take to burn the paper?
The paper won't burn if kept this way, right?

Now take a magnifying lens, and focus the sunlight on a point.

Now, how long will it take to burn the paper?

A few seconds.

What do we learn from this?

The same sunlight, which could not burn the paper for hours without concentration, could in fact burn the paper in just a few seconds when concentrated (at one point).

What the magnifying glass here does is that, it intensifies the sunlight and focuses it at one point on the paper.

Just like sunlight, we too have too much brain power, but due to our unsteady mind we can’t focus it on a specific work.

Like sunlight, we too need a magnifying glass in our life, which not only concentrates us on work but also intensifies it.

This magnifying glass is called meditation.

Why should you meditate?

To make your unsteady mind concentrate on a specific work with more intensity so that you get better results.
