#bkdk #kacchako QL AU cheating hanahaki angst where Izuku has known for awhile that Katsuki and Ochako have been having an affair and develops Hanahaki. However, when given the nearest date for the surgery, it falls on his and Katsuki's wedding day and Izuku has to make a choice.
Keep the memories and get married. Or get the surgery, forget Katsuki and leave him on the altar. Izuku doesn't want to embarrass anyone like that, bit decides he can't handle the pain anymore and makes the appointment.
Cut to the wedding day and everyone minus Izuku, Inko, Hisashi, and Hawks are there. Katsuki waits patiently for his soon-to-be-husband to walk down the aisle. He had ended his affair with Ochako a few weeks ago and was ready to be a dedicated husband, but was met with his-
-mother barging in, saying there was no sign of Izuku. Everyone searches, but to no avail and Katsuki is left in shambles.
A year later, Katsuki is on a business trip to Sapporo when he sees a familiar head of green hair and the world stops. Izuku and Hawks, who have basically become brothers after Izuku's dad saved him from his neglectful father years ago, were out eating lunch.
Katsuki walks up to Izuku, tears in his eyes as he finally had found Izuku. He notices the surgical scar on Izuku's chest and falls to his knees.
"I finally found you!"
But wht Izuku says completely breaks him.
"Do I know you, sir?"
