Last year member of our network including @mark_lynas, @TeaTrmn, @simonfriederich, @amardeo, @Thoughtscapism signed an open letter to the 🇩🇪 to save the at the time 6 operational plants.

On February 24, Russia invaded Ukraine adding another reason to save the remaining 3 reactor. Solidarity with #Ukraine.

We launched our #SwitchOffPutin campaign which showed that keeping the plants open could help Europe cut off Russian Fossil fuel imports.

In May, activists in our network carried out an action at the Grohnde NPP which had been shutdown on NYE 2021 to be reopened.

Finally, we hope the German government goes through with keeping the plants open and reverses it's decision to phase out nuclear energy.

Fossil fuels are the real threat to our environment and to a prosperous society. Let's phase them out instead!
