Satine posted a fake PR-speak apology on Twitter. She essentially threw her husband under the bus. (He is awful but doesn't matter; he was no one in #TTRPGs #DND before she married him, he will be no one again if she leaves him.)

She posted a MONETIZED "apology" on Insta ("buy a badge to support SP"), and then scrubbed it from her account. The apology was full of fake crying, blaming it all on her husband, denying the stories of the people who came forward, and implying SHE was the victim.

Rick Heinz paid the writers for the Red Opera (a $161K Kickstarter w/ SP&JS) himself out of his personal savings. He has not been paid for his work or recompensated for paying the authors.

Sirens authors (a $300K Kickstarter w/ SP&JS) got paid AFTER all this broke. Which was waaaaay too late. SP&JS also paid them per word left AFTER editing, not per word written - which is wrong, abusive, and NOT the way the TTRPG industry works.

An update, SP&J say that they're going to start working on Sirens by themselves, "on weekends" in Dec 22 and ship it Dec 23.

Many comments on the KS update can be summed up as:

It was a $300k KS. Why isn't it their day job? (Not just a weekend job.)
It was billed as 90% done. Why is it taking a year to do the remaining 10%?
I want my money back. This is BS.

This is, no lie, the THIRD TIME Satine Phoenix has had to publicly apologize for her behavior with the excuse of "OH NO! I DONE BEEN BAMBOOZLED BY A BOY!"

A) She has such EPICALLY lousy taste in men she's dragging predators into our hobby;

B) She knows full well what she's doing, and this is just an excuse;

C) Both of the above.

She's going to smile and bat her eyelashes and be charming, friendly, and sexy. This behavior makes people think that she's a good person (particularly those who are attracted to her).

Satine Phoenix is an active threat to people in the #TTRPG #DnD hobby.

DO NOT drag Satine Phoenix for her past career, her looks, her AAPI heritage, or her clothing. They have NOTHING to do with why she's a terrible person and a threat to our hobby and I won't stand for that. Don't test me.
