#UPDATE The White House is expected to announce a $3 bn aid package to Ukraine, to be used for arms acquisition, training and other operations, on Wednesday, when Kyiv marks both its independence from Russia and the half-year mark of the invasion launched in February by Moscow.
Ukraine is on course to ship nearly as much grain this month as it did before the Russian invasion, in a triumph for international efforts to ease food shortages, a US official said Tuesday.
