- Voted with Biden on multiple key issues which means they can't attack it.
- Shun the guy who was a GOP POTUS 20 months ago.
- Runs away from their 2017 tax policy; Dobbs decision; FBI overreach.
Who in the GOP/independent should vote GOP?
Explain👇🏼
This is without getting into the fact that the @HouseGOP a few years back with 241 seats delivered less on basic GOP policy than @HouseDemocrats with 220 seats delivered on Radical Lefty policies.
- gave Biden more judges than any POTUS since JFK! Schumer with less seats than the GOP now blocked Trump more!
- said "let Mueller finish his job" for 21 months AND had their own 4 year collusion investigation, yet shot down any talk of 2020!
= Trump voters 😴
Senate Dems with 50 seats; House Dems with 220 seats, gave liberals a $750 billion fund.
The GOP with more seats in both houses in 2017, didn't give $25 billion for a wall.
Most @SenateDems in '07 voted for a 700 mile wall so funding it is not a radical idea yet GOP failed!
Basically... GOP was MIA on legislation when Trump was around + harassed him via elevating Mueller/their own investigations + helped Biden on key issues + running away from 2020 concerns, Dobbs ruling and DOJ overreach of a GOP POTUS, while Congressional Dems delivered for Libs!
After getting loads done due to 12-17 @SenateGOP's and more via a 50-50 Dem Senate, "with the flick of a pen, President Biden has taken a giant step forward in addressing the student debt crisis," boasts @SenSchumer in a press release 2.5 months pre-midterms.
What does GOP have?
In the last 90 years (1933 through 2022), the GOP had the House only 24 years.
8 of those years was in the Tea Party/Trump era.
Yet, the GOP Machine shuns/mocks the base that drove the Tea Party and Trump.
What does the DC GOP do? Harass him. Criticize him. #CountryOverParty him.
Result?
He loses by 43K votes combined in 3 states.
"See? SEE? We told you Trump is bad news for the GOP!"
This is EXACTLY what I am talking about!
Dem Pat Ryan narrowly won Tuesday a swing district special election yet went all in with the most Dem Extreme Language: Trump "is essentially traitorous at this point."
How many Swing District GOPer goes all out on GOP language?
ZERO!
Dems in the riskiest of districts campaign fully on the most militant Dem language on policy and on politics of politics (such as Trump) so this energizes Dems, while @NRCC chair @tomemmer "advises" his candidates to shy away from these things; losing out on base voters!
The GOP machine thinks that if they ignore certain topics that has life on both sides (Trump, Dobbs ruling) it will help them win.
Well, Dems use these things to fire up their own side, so why shouldn't you use it to shore up your own base too?
Many topics and "crazy" candidates that the @GOP runs from are merely media narratives so why fold on it? But even IF you have internal polling showing you that X is a net bad among voters, Dems also have the polling so they use the topic. Why not use it to fire up your side? 🤡
Trump WON in 2016 while the GOP Machine's Romney, McCain and Dole lost; Bush left with a 25% approval. If not for Nevers, Trump would win in 2020 despite tweets, controversies and lockdowns.
So... Dems anyway use him for their side, use him to energize your own side too!
My point is two fold:
A) Trump is a GOPer who won the WH and if not for the DC GOPs/Nevers undercutting him, he would win 2020 too. So why run from your winner?
B) Even IF he were really a net negative (not caused by Nevers), Dems anyway use him so use him too!
WSJ Editors: "The long-predicted GOP 'wave' election may be crashing on an offshore reef, as abortion and Donald Trump energize Democrats."
A) Sad how GOP insiders get stuck on a Dem-created narrative.
B) Even if the editorial is true, make use of both issues as noted above!
On the flip side of this thread, please list three topics that fit this:
A) Dem candidates run from it.
B) Republicans are pushing it fully.
C) Republicans fought for it in recent years; not just election year talk.
D) It's a topic of big interests to voters.
Go. Ill wait...
Meanwhile, since the NY primary 2 days ago, the GOP sped up its run from Trump (who if not for saboteur Nevers would win 2020), so Team Biden pushes the Trump name tonight.
Are you getting this @NRCC@NRSC? GOP can't escape Trump name so embrace it to energize your own base. 🤡
Trump lost re-election by only 43K votes spread in 3 states despite...
- Tech deplatforming Trumers;
- Tech Censorship of the Biden Laptop at the direction of the FBI!
- A global pandemic/lockdown.
- Never Trumpers.
Yet DC GOPs think that THIS GUY is THE 2020 GOP problem!
In a new poll by Emerson in swing state Pensilvania, the Republican Senate candidate (Oz) and Governor candidate (Mastriano) are both at 44% while Trump is at 47% to Biden's 42%!
Another illustration how Trump can pull GOPs up, but the Machine is shunning him.
The new House Dem who said Trump "is essentially traitorous at this point," won the #NY19 special election this Tuesday by a margin of 2.2% which is slightly above Biden's 1.46%.
That's right: GOP did better there with Trump atop the ticket than now when they ran from him.
DC GOPs at the @NRSC@NRCC@HouseGOP@SenateGOP know very well that Trump can drive Base Turnout if he is more involved (Dems already use him), but these clowns despise him so much that they are willing to blow up the House/Senate just to own him.
They did it to the WH in 2020!
Machine Republicans always buy into Dem Media narratives how x and y are bad for the GOP so the GOP's runs/hides.
GOPs even say "if not for x and y then we would do much better."
Hey CLOWNS; If not for x and y Dems and their media would have other stuff to make you run from!
Republicans were into "if not for x then y would be diff" during Trump's tenure as if Dems and their media didn't blow stuff up on Trump without his tweets! We had a 72 hour crisis when he walked down a ramp slowly at West Point. Biden has worse instances weekly and it's a "meh."
This thread isn't about Trump. It's with every issue; every election; every GOP POTUS or POTUS candidate. Tims and again GOP runs/hides based on Dem narratives.
(Does anyone remember the year-long 2007 scandal of Bush's DOJ firing 7 US Attorneys? Oy! Bush's AG RESIGNED over it!)
We know what GOPs run from this year. Therefore ill ask again:
What are the 3-4 issues that @NRCC@NRCC candidates...
A) are running fully on
B) that they voted accordingly in recent years
C) issues that Dems try avoiding.
D) Are popular/relevant issues.
Nobody knows!

Hello folks. We always knew that the economy growing/falling is based on Gross Domestic Product data which the BEA confirmed today did in fact fall in Q2 after falling in Q1.
Jason saying the "economy grew" is his unilateral redefining of the economy by adding another data set.
2/ When the initial GDP data for the Second Quarter was released a month ago, Dems and their media drove the message that two negative quarters of GDP does not mean a recession. It is also dependent on the job market; a line hardly-if-ever before used when defining recession.
3/ Now that the Second Quarter data was revised and it is still showing a negative, we get sold a new claim:
Recession is when Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and Gross Domestic Income (GDI) are both negative by calculating them together. @jasonfurman said it and also Bloomberg 👇🏼
If you have some time, read Chapter Five (page 71) of the IG report on how @Comey's FBI went about Hillary's emails. For example, the feds got "consent" to search "most" (not all Clinton devices).
What I didn't know until today is that the classified (including top secret) emails found in #ButHerEmails were only among the 30K+ emails handed over by Clinton's staff and not the 31K+ they deleted under claim that it was "personal."
Feds "Did not seek to obtain every device including those of Clinton’s senior aides, or the contents of every email account... Reasons for not doing so were based on limitations the Midyear team imposed... [with] the desire to complete the investigation well before the election."
1/4 On Inauguration Day, the outgoing POTUS does not personally have physical access to classified documents to fill 25 boxes at will and to secretly direct the movers to corruptly whisk it away. So any talk of Trump "stealing/taking" boxes of such documents is a clown show.
2/4 Can a new admin claim that some documents should not have been given? Yes. But if you read beyond the clickbait headlines and dramatic intros, the "concern" was the security. Did Bush 43 check Clinton's security at Chappaqua?
3/4 Basically, staffers decide which docs can go with a POTUS, but senior people in a new admin have the legal (corruptly-used) power to claim that some documents were given by mistake and can also claim (corruptly) that it's not securely stored; hence the new locks in June. 😃
