Meghan on forgiving the Royals, Harry “losing” his father, her new podcast, and what about the ‘At-Home-With-The-Sussexes’ Netflix series?? (she doesn’t give anything away)

Meghan said if she had stayed in the Royal Family, she’d have 40 photographers taking pictures when she did Archie’s school run.
But not what happens: William & Kate take and pick up George/Charlotte without any cameras. thecut.com/article/meghan…
The only time cameras allowed for school run is on the first day at school. The only 2 cameras are permitted (one TV, one photo) who agree to share footage with other broadcasters and publications.
Is simply wrong for #meghan to claim there would be “40 people snapping pictures”
Nice description of life inside Harry and Meghan’s Monecito home from @TheCut interviewer:
“An invisible hand has lit a Soho House–branded rose-water candle… that scent fills the air, mingling with the gentle tones of a flamenco-inflected guitar floating from a speaker” 🕯 💃
Trying to picture what this must have been like at the time👇
‘…instead of answering a question, she will suggest how I might transcribe the noises she’s making: “She’s making these guttural sounds, and I can’t quite articulate what it is she’s feeling in that moment…”’
How big is Harry and Meghan’s Montecito home? The interviewer from @TheCut describes it thus:
“The Montecito house is the kind of big that startles you into remembering that unimaginable wealth is actually someone’s daily reality.” #MeghanAndHarry
In a later section of the article, Meghan explains to @TheCut why they chose this house:
“One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees,” she coos. “See how they’re connected at the bottom? He goes, ‘My love, it’s us.’” 🌴 🌴
And what of rumours Harry and Meghan’s first big @netflix project is actually a fly-on-the-wall docu-series all about them?? 📺
“Questions about…an At Home With Meghan and Harry–type docuseries…are met with half-answers shrouded in winks, codes, and redirection”.
Here, full section on what Meghan said about her & Harry’s relationship with their fathers:
‘toxic tabloid culture has torn two families apart. “Harry said to me, ‘I lost my dad in this process.’ It doesn’t have to be the same for them as it was for me, but that’s his decision.”’
Meghan on forgiving her royal in-laws:
“I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive…But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I’ve really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything…I have a lot to say until I don’t”

Ok. I’ve done all three. (Watching at 1.5x speed is very helpful). #HarryandMeghan
So where to start …?
Essentially, this is a story of so much promise that ended in acrimony and sadness. With family breakdowns on both sides (Harry and Meghan’s). It’s a pretty sad situation all round #HarryandMeghanNetflix
Harry and Meghan - along with friends, family and supportive colleagues - make the case that the breakdown can be blamed on: 1. tabloid press 2. the inability of the Monarchy and a country built on the riches of Empire, to adapt to Meghan’s arrival in the UK
If anyone was in any doubt that Harry and Meghan plan to blame his family and the press for their exit from the UK and the Royal Family, not anymore.
Prince Harry in the second @netflix trailer: “ There is leaking, but there is also the planting of stories”.
Harry talked about the “pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution”
In this clip from the @netflix docu-series, the Duke of Sussex refers to it “as a dirty game”.
Confirmation from @netflix that Harry and Meghan series will drop episodes 1-3 on Thursday 8 December (exactly 3 month after day the Queen died) and episodes 4-6 on December 15.
The show was recorded for @BBC on Sunday 🇬🇧 and @PBS on Monday 🇺🇸
The winners included a British firm @notpla which makes substitute plastic from seaweed. Five winners received £1 million to develop their environmental projects 🌊 🌍 🌳 #RoyalVisitBoston
Unbelievable images and sounds as the Queen’s coffin is taken in procession from Westminster Hall to @wabbey on a gun carriage pulled by 142 Royal Navy men and women.
Led massed Pipes and Drums if Scottish and Irish Regiments, Gurkhas and RAF
Solemn. Stunning. Ceremonial
Inside @wabbey Prince George 9, and Princess Charlotte 7, walk behind the coffin their great-grandmother (GanGan).
They walk between William & Kate and Harry & Meghan.
Behind the coffin in Procession is The King and Queen Consort and the late Queen’s other children #queensfuneral
Before the Queen’s coffin was carried from @wabbey by the Bearer Party, The Sovereign’s Piper played the traditional lament: ‘Sleep, dearie, sleep’. As Piper, Paul Burns, walked out of view, the sound of the pipes remained and slowly faded away… #queensfuneral#QueenElizabethIl
Moving moment in Westminster Hall as Prince Harry stands with his brother, Prince William - both in uniform - and their other cousins as 8 grandchildren hold a vigil at the coffin of their grandmother The Queen. #QueenElizabethII
Harry stood at the foot of the coffin. William at the head.
The youngest James, just 14, was in the middle.
Also present, Lady Louise, @yorkiebea Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindal, Peter Phillips.
Mourners continued to file past the coffin as the Prince of Wales, Duke of Sussex and their cousins kept vigil.
There has been an incident in Westminster Hall where a member of the public rushed at the Queen’s coffin and catafalque.
Individual was quickly taken to the floor by police officers and removed from the hall.
But other mourners at the Lying-in-State looked on in horror.
The @metpoliceuk says:
“22:00hrs on Friday 16 September officers from the Met's Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command detained a man in Westminster Hall following a disturbance.
He was arrested for an offence under the Public Order Act and is currently in custody”.
