31 August 2022 - A Top-Down Approach to Clip Analysis

Title aside, this is going to be an EXCITING thread! If you haven't seen Joe's full, 2-hour deep dive interview, you want to! If you can, watch this first.

2) Now, check this out! The video above is from a MP4 file given me by @vladlemets. He opens and closes the interview and handled all the technical aspects with his typic panache, verve and style. Ah, but this segment is all my own technical work!

3) We're going to slow down now, and work through some of the basics involved. First, I had to master (more like just kludge my way through) the art of file management to include storage, finding, and uploading into editing software. He's what I'm using:

4) Once I got all that worked out adequately, I had to learn how to open up and post videos at Rumble. I think I have a channel, but I'm still confused about that. Here's just me at Rumble:

5) Next, I am now able to take an entire 2-hour long form video, like the one above, and break it down into segments such as this one. It's Part 1 of 10. If you have the time to play with it, you'll see that there actually is a different value here:

6) You might notice that the full video has a lovely thumbnail of our hero and candidate, but the link above one has no such image. That's because I failed to select a thumbnail image for it. I could have taken it down and re-uploaded it, or learned how to edit it. Alas.

7) Having first done the interview with @joekent16jan19, and then watched both the full form as well as created the segment section, I can honestly tell you, I see Part 1 differently by itself than I do as the first part of the entire interview. Let me talk about that.

8) When viewing the entire video there's no way to remember Part 1 as strongly as you remember the later, 8, 9, & 10 for example. Also, no matter how interested you might be, you just don't take in 2 hours of information the way you take in just 11 minutes. Interesting, yes?

9) But we're not done yet! What follows in the rest of this thread will be 6, 2:20 second or less clips I chose and trimmed last night (ending exhausted at 2:00 AM). I'll post the first clip and then disengage for an hour or so (maybe less) and work on the rest as soon as I can.

10) @joekent16jan19 you start off with an incredible flourish, and you never let up for the entire 2 hours. Here I am setting up our first question, we'll turn to you next, immediately.

11) Andhere we are, @joekent16jan19, this is that first flourish I mentioned above. I'll analyze this more fully later. I'm here to tell you, Joe, your clip here is every bit as cogent and important today as when we recorded this back in June!

12) You know, @joekent16jan19, I don't think it shows, but you could have blown me over with a feather when you chose to go over alsl 10 Planks. I honestly thought I'd have, at best 15 - 20 minutes. Can't thank you enough for that decision you made, and your investment of time.

13) As you describe and define the Forgotten Americans, your passion, fire, integrity, and readiness to fight for them shines though. Later in the interview we return to this and discuss your Day 1 agenda for January 2023. We'll all be watching!

14) You just simply never whine or complain, @joekent16jan19. You lay out the mission and sign on. Yet, as I watch the above clip again, I can see clearly that you, and me too, we are also The Forgotten Americans, ourselves.

14) You don't do it as much here as later, but you bring up both 9/11 and WWII. I can assure you that my WWII vet father was beyond appalled over Waco. He never said the words, but this was NOT the America he fought and bled for (very literally!). They were Forgotten.

It just struck me right now, as opposed to the Alinsky haves-and-have-nots, America First offers two classes, the rulers-and-ruled. The ruled are the Forgotten Americans

18) No matter Democrat or Republican, our ruling elite has only one agenda. All they do is look out for themselves.

23) I call your question here, who benefits?, by its Latin term: Cui Bono. It is, perhaps of all things else, my positively MOST favored question in all of political analysis and discourse. I also say:

25) Theory over purpose. What's the true purpose of this government? If it's not to serve to the American People...then what is it's purpose. You then end this clip with powerful reference to our great leader, Trump, and how he reawakened us to all this.

28) The kind of crack down the left has had to execute is their reaction to the fact that not only did Trump awaken us, we knew exactly what Trump was saying to us because we had all thought and felt exactly what he was saying, ourselves.

29) In spite of all opposition, we had four amazing years under Trump. That's why the ruling class behaves as they do. This is, for them, as I say, a complete existential threat. They know if they let this go forward they are forever doomed.

30) They can't win elections right now. That's why they're taking every controversial issue they can right now, and throwing it at the wall to see if it'll sticK.

32) Their hatred for Americans, and for American Sovereignty is really exposing them. That's a very big thought. We could do an entire interview on that one topic alone.

33) @joekent16jan19, you're still optimistic. You know that we like our labels and names, but others do not. If we just talk about the topics, but forget to use the standard names, you believe they more often agree with us.

34) Tom Paine, in his Common Sense, laid down the same line of assessment about Colonial America, as you do about modern America, Joe. He knew that King George was awakening a sleeping giant. As you say, that's what Trump did for us, yet again.

35) If I'm hearing you rightly, it is because Americans of every political stripe or leaning still treasure the same pure American values upon which we founded our nation, it is for that reason you remain optimistic. Extraordinary point. Truly.
