๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ Oblak โ‚ฌ5.5m - Comes in at a slightly cheaper price and also looks good from MD1 to MD6.

๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Lloris โ‚ฌ5.5m - A good looking opening game v Marseille and a kind draw for the Spurs keeper.

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Kobel โ‚ฌ5.0m - A nice home match v Copenhagen but Guerreiro is even cheaper + has attacking threat.
๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท Vlachodimos โ‚ฌ5.0m - Probably my favourite for MD1 here (v Maccabi Haifa). Looks like staying now ๐Ÿ˜…

And while there's not really a โ‚ฌ4.5m option for MD1 Tuesday, there're ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ช Mignolet + ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ Hradecky who face each other in the Brugge v Leverkusen game on Wednesday...
...a game which could go either way really.

Before I'll have a scan through the most promising #UCLFantasy forwards, I'll now have a look at chip strategies.

The way the fixtures have fallen, there's no obvious best strategy, making things quite interesting.

1. LWC2, WC3

Probably the most common strategy.

The big pro with this one is we can field a strong MD1 team without having to plan for MD2 etc.
WC3 is very powerful as well as MD3+4 consists of the same (very easy in some cases) set of fixtures.
WC3 seems especially good for the teams here, who have a good run from MD3-MD6. Triple Real, Trent, Salah, Haaland, Spurs, PSG fwd... all could do the trick here. Image

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ Salah โ‚ฌ11.0m - Tricky to afford with all the pricey picks up front, but a kind group for the #FPL legend.
๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ด Diaz โ‚ฌ9.0m - The cheaper alternative, but more rotation risk once Jota is back.

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ช de Bruyne โ‚ฌ10.5m - A great start to the season for KDB & City, but a tricky trip to Sevilla. Should do really well in this group though.

๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท Son โ‚ฌ10.5m - No goals so far this season, but #UCL MD1 sounds like a good opportunity to change that. Differential captain option.
๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช Kulusevski โ‚ฌ7.5m - The cheaper Spurs pick who has already delivered in #FPL GW1. Might be a better fit considering the team structure.

๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Sterling โ‚ฌ9.5m - 3 goals in the last 2 matches. Could be a fantastic differential against Zagreb + Salzburg on MD1+2.

๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น Cancelo โ‚ฌ6.5m - An away trip to Sevilla may not be an ideal start, but the City defence is quite likely to deliver again. He also was the top scoring defender of the past #UCLFantasy season.

๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Ake โ‚ฌ4.5m (rotation) or ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Walker โ‚ฌ5.5m could offer cheaper alternatives here.
๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ Tavernier โ‚ฌ6.0m - Definitely a bit more pricey than expected for but the Rangers penalty taker got a huge amount of attacking returns over the last few seasons. #UCL may be a tougher task though.
